Looks like my wife's little tiny Beretta .32acp isn't so bad after all.

Looks like we all need to go to .357's. Also looks like my 9mm is about as good as my .45.

This kinda matches up with some data I saw a couple of years ago too.

Very interesting. I remember the story about the LEO who was shot by multiple 45s at close range, survived and fully recovered. Like Jocko says, I think those bullets move so slowly that there is less shock to the system. :banplease:

I have been thnking of getting something in 22 lr. For plinking, not carry. I have been thinking I should get a rifle instead of a pistol in order to take full advantage of the round, both in velocity and accuracy. Now, I have to decide what to get.

Kinda enlightening. The Marshall/Sanow books were totally descredited as bunk by leading physicians and wound ballistics experts years ago. The large/slow vs small/fast arguement will never stop.

The MOST significant factor is what is hit/punctured/destroyed by the bullet as it passes thru the body. It does not matter if it is a 22 or a 308 if breaks the spinal cord everything below the break is non-functional period.
