Just picked up the Elite, took a couple of pics (man, my camera is lousy). Took one of its carry brother next to it. Just like to sit around looking at it. :o

you will love the feel and shootability of that gun. Refer to the kahr tech sectiona nd read up on PROPER PREPPING OF YOUR NEW KAHR. It might help you enjoy your elite even more.

nice gun, really is..;)

Looks like we need to change your screen name too. You shall now be rjmelite9. Wonder if you can change your screen name? Might be nice to kind of slide in under an alias sometimes.
You gonna shoot that or maybe just fondle and polish. Sure nice to look at. Guess she'll clean up real pretty after each session. Pretty is good.

Can you say absolutely gorgeous!!! I want one so bad. My local store has a MK9 03 elite with n/s for 794 I think I will hop on it. I just can't let her sit in that store all alone and cold with no one to hold her.

Thanks guys! I am gonna shoot it. I know the triggers are supposed to be the same but I dry fired both for comparison and the Elite seems smoother. Could be my imagination. ;)

Jocko, I am sure it is just my imagination, I'll know for sure when I break 'er in over the weekend.

Goofa, I see you have the comp barrel. Was it a drop in or fitted? Do you find yours more accurate or just easier on follow up shots. It looks pretty cool. :D

I got one last summer and its soooo fine. Mine shoot great right from the first shot and the groups were quite impressive...not to mention the recoil is greatly reduced due to the added all steel construction.

Yes the trigger on the Elites is polished and the pull is slightly shortened.

The ported barrel from Kahr is a drop in part. It is unbelievably accurate and the recoil is almost non-existent. :D

At times, but I'm partial (spoiled) to the ported 4".:D

Me too.

I bought both a K9 and a TP9 recently and within a few months of each other. The K9 has a factory installed elite trigger and I would also describe it as being smoother than the TP9 trigger. On paper they are the same, yes, but in real life I'd swear there's a difference. Why...I don't know.

Maybe Kahr does something "extra" with the Elite models and/or with a trigger modification. Whatever it is... it's appreciated. :D

Yup - it's the perfect pistol. I'm waiting on CT lasergrips UPS says will be here on May 4.

Beautiful gun, I love my K9. I have the standard model, but don't care for the look of the nickel-plated slide stop lever, trigger and mag release, so I was thInking I'd just order these parts for the Elite and install them on my standard model. Are these parts polished stainless on the Elite models, or do they still have the nickel finish?

Maybe one day these will be legal for FFL transfer here in the People's Republic of MA. Dare to dream.
