Hello all! I posted the other day in the p & cw forum about the multiple FTE's I'm getting. The general response I got was to send it back to Kahr. I have not arranged to send it in yet (my work schedule doesn't allow me much time to interact with the normal world). In the meantime, I have a question.. Just for the heck of it I pushed a spent case down the breach face so that it was "seated" in/behind the extractor. I noticed that the extractor is not holding the case tight against the breach face. There is about (best guess) a 1/16" gap between the back of the extractor and the case rim. Is that normal for a Kahr? If anybody has any pics of their cw45 extractor I'd love to see em for comparison.

My CW45 has a similar gap (as do my 1911s and various other semiautomatic pistols) when the case rim is pushed up against the extractor hook (on the right in this photo):

Thanks gb! That's an awsome pic BTW. Exactly what I wanted to know. I was talking to my buddy about his "other brand" and his fits pretty snug, which is why I was asking about the Kahr. I see that its all good. Thanks again!
