The way I read it is that his defense team believes, and I agree that they will get a not guilty verdict and that will somehow calm fears and prevent riots.

I think a NG verdict will still result in riots.

I think when Zimmerman's defense team found out Travon's girlfriend was lying about being in the hospital and on the phone with him at the time of the shooting it took most if not all the wind out of the prosecutions case....They will go before a jury and have their star witness already caught in a lie....Looking better for Zimmerman but I agree that however he wins the case the natives are restless and don't need much incentive to start their rape pillage burn and plunder to show their outrage that Zimmerman was within his rights to defend himself against Travon....Never miss out on a good opportunity to snag a new flat screen or high dollar sneakers all in the name of civil rights...

Did I miss something, did Zimmerman have a probable cause hearing?
Isn't passing this and going to trial the basis for a civil suit even if he's found not guilty at trial? (like OJ).
Somebody school me here,
Tilos

I hope the defense is not concerned about stuff AFTER the verdict and concentrates on getting a NG verdict in any way possible.

I agree a NGV will result in riots

IIC he waived his prelim hearing. You can bet he will be sued no matter what the criminal verdict. Bank on it.

I don't foresee riots coming after a not guilty verdict. That would only bring more bloodshed.

Hopefully enough time has passed that many will have lost their momentum and hate over the race thing which is really all this is.
I predict either way there's gonna be a lot of bitching and whining if not all out riots.
Jesse and Al will make certain of that.

Oh, there will be bitching, whining and protesting. For sure. It's the American way. ;)

RK was approvimatley 13/14 months event to acquittal. Will there be an uprising if GZ is acquitted? BET ON IT. The race-bating, ghetto-rolling, poverty-pimps will make sure of it.
