Anybody ever had this done? I would like to get it done but I am apprehensive about sending my gun off.

How much does it cost? Who do you suggest?

You really want to parkerize it ? Wasn't it originally blued ?

Yes Orig M1/M1A1 from factory were blued....they were parkerized during arsenal rebuild process. Either is correct for WW2.

thats why I got the commando. I already have a M1 model, which I love, but figure get the commando, and replace the grips with natural walnut color M1 wood to have that mid to late WWII Pacific theater marine thompson. will also convert to a SBR once my ATF stamp comes in.
