Anybody with experience with these Uplulas?
Butler Creek Maglula Uplula Magazine Speed Loader and Unloader
or Butler Creek Maglula StripLULA 24200 SL50B Magazine Loader .223 Rem 10 Round

Which one is best for loading my 223 mags? (Mini-14)
Thanks

Depends if you have your ammo on stripper clips or not, for loading loose ammo the first one would be the one to get. If you have them on stripper clips, the 2nd would be the way to go. To use the 2nd one, you have to put the rounds in stripper clips first.

The uplulas is great, it really saves the thumb and it is fast.

My body is falling apart so I'll save any part I can.

I have two of the large pistol ones and one of the baby ones for pistols. The baby works for .22 to .380. The large works for 9mm on up. You really don't do yourself any favor by trying to use the large one for .380 because the metal beak is too wide on the large one and doesn't reach back far enough to seat the .380 properly in the rear. The Baby does and works for some .22 mags as well.

IF I had a rifle, I would sure get the setup to load those rifle mags. I only have the 10/22 and have the Butler Creek setup for it.

After seeing what the Maglula UpLULA could do for filling up my various 9mm magazines, I purchased one of these from the link below for my Mini-14 and it really works great.

The one for the Mini-14 works with or without stripper clips and there is a video of this in action at the bottom of this link:

I have one of these for loading my Sig mags and it is the slickest thing for loading mags. It is not necessary for my 7 rd K9 mags but if you have alot of mags it will save time and your thumbs.
