I finally shot my P45

Its been two weeks since I picked it up, but life has conspired against me so today was the first chance I've had to put some ammo through it.

I followed Jacko's instructions and thoroughly cleaned and lubed it, ran the action 500-600 times by hand, dry fired it a couple hundred times then re-lubed before I went out today.

I ran 50 rounds of PMC Bronze 230's though it without a single problem. I am amazed at the lack of recoil for such a small light .45 handgun. My PM9 has more recoil than this thing, amazing.

It is stupid accurate, smooth and controllable, I look forward to the next 150 break in rounds. I will be putting an A-Grip on it just like all my other polymer pieces - yes, the checkering is a bit sharp. The trigger guard did not hit my finger as it sometimes does on my PM9 - that made me happy. I did short stroke the trigger a couple times but that is just a matter of more rounds down range.

I think I hit the jack pot on this one. More to come......

I have a P45 as well, and it is a fine piece. Every time I show it off I have offers to buy it. But if I sell it then I would feel like I lost a child... But well done indeed.

So if I gave you a kid, and paid shippng could we make a deal. I really want a PM45 but I guess the only thing missing on the P45 would be the "M". Boy or girl, your choice, plus the no pervert clause of course.
