I went to the range today with my wife, daughter, and two other friends to shoot for a few hours and figured I would share a few photos of the range I frequent and my shooting. My range is actually a club and members have access to over 200 hundred acres including a huge lake, 30 shot 3D archery course through the woods, two camping cabins on the lake, trap shooting stations, 5 ranges from 25-300yards, a clubhouse and tree stand bow stations. The cost to join is $40 and there is hardly anyone there except during planned group events, in fact the I don't think I have ever had to share any of the ranges with anyone.
The closest range in the pic is the 25 yard range

Here are a few shots of the 25 yard range.....I do most of my pistol shooting on the 25 yard one at about 30-50 feet. I use the stand up steel targets and can drill them 6 for 6 with my CM9 at 40 feet!

This target was shot at 30 feet with my CM9. I love this gun just in case I haven't mentioned it before

What part of the world you live in certified. I'd like to be your neighbor long as it ain't too far to that range.
Looks like pretty country and the suns out and it looks warm.
We got a real pretty day today, sunny and don't need long johns and electric socks but it's more rare round these parts.
No rush but I'm calling the moving company as we speak.
Nice looking range and I love the lack of a crowd.
PS- tell me there's Bass in that lake and I'll die a happy man.

There's Bass in the lake along with Bluegill, Catfish, and Carp. We actually take our kayaks to the lake as it can be hard to get to a lot of the shoreline. My daughter just got a sit on top kayak and we are waiting for the weather to get a bit nicer before she tries it ou.

Now you are talking kayak fishing as well! We need to hang out! You are speaking about all oft favorite hobbies...shootin', hangin' with the kids and kayak fishing....doesn't get much better than that.

Ohio Columbus? I didn't know there was land like that in Ohio?
Wow this is a learning experience.
Bass and Bluegill with a shooting range. Purely heaven on earth. In Ohio?
I never been east of the Mississippi, well cept for crossing the bridge in to Illinois for catfish supper with my grandparents in an earlier life. They loved to eat a joint over there. I don't remember it much except crossing the big buddy.
I need to get out more I guess.

Course it's Ohio. Why do you think I live there. How far is it from Old Man's Cave, certified106?

About 20 minutes south of Old Mans Cave, which is one of our favorite camping spots in this part of Ohio! When the weather turns nicer and we get the kayaks back out I will post a few pictures of some other lakes around here that are really nice. See even here in Appalachia we do have some thing worthwhile, lol. Interestingly enough the one lake we kayak at a lot had multiple black bear sightings this past year. On guy even caught the bear swimming on video!

Love Old Man's Cave! Great part of the world you live in. Great fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting. Best part of Ohio (sorry muggsy).
