At least MY accuracy with the PM9.
Had a great day at the range today. I've never been consistently accurate with the PM9. Good enough for close work, but just not consistent.
A big part of it is I have never really gotten consistent with the vertical aim point on the sights.
Some other post on here somebody put up a photo of how they painted their sights so the "points" of the top of the rear sight were white. Looking at that picture, it occurred to me that centering the dot in the points is how far above the "i" that the dot is actually supposed to go.
I can't find the photo now, but did my shooting improve using (probably properly for the first time in 3 years) the rear sights that way! The "dotting" the i thing never got me close consistently. I feel no need to paint my rear sight, but the visual on that post finally illustrated how the sights work for my dim brain.
Anyway, I had that epiphany. Also, love the big dot sights installed on my PX4. They cover enough of the target that the Kahr sights are actually more accurate for me at the range, but the big dots are quicker to acquire and plenty accurate for me. The PX4 did fail to return to battery twice. It appears to not like grease on the rotating barrel/cam.
The CZ 75 is great fun too. I like everything about it except the stock sights. I'll probably change to rubber grips. The trigger smoothed quite a bit in 50 rounds.
As a bonus, the local walmart had .40 S&W in stock on my way home. So, I picked up 3 boxes. I guess I'll be shooting .40 next range trip...
