Hey guys, Just bought my first Kahr the other day. I got it used from my local gun shop for 300 out the door. So far I am very pleased with it. I have about 350 rounds through it so far without any problems. Just thought Id say Hi and that I'm looking forward to many more range trips with my Kahr CW9.:)

Congrats on your new purchase, and welcome aboard to a great site. What do you use for daily carry, do you carry? Looking at your collection, it seems like you have some nice choices for a carry piece.

$300 out the door is a steal. You did well for your first Kahr grasshopper. We have a couple of Kahr Czars around here and it would do you well to heed their advice.

Congrats on you new "to you" gun.

Unfortunately I live in New Jersey, Where protecting yourself is Illegal, But my sister owns land in PA and I am there a lot. So when I am in PA I carry the Taurus M605. From now on though I will be using the Kahr.

RANGE REPORT

So today I decided to go to the range and put the Kahr CW9 through its paces. I brought different types of ammo to shoot. Ill admit I was nervous considering the price I payed for it, I thought something might of been wrong with it. Also the fact that it was very tight, I didn't think it would cycle well. I fired around 300 rounds of various ammo including American Eagle 124grn, 115grn, Federal Red box 115grn, Winchester 115grn UMC, and Federal 115grn Jacketed Hollow Points. All fired without a single hiccup. I fired at 7-10 yards mostly.
2 round bursts and a couple mag dumps just to see how it preformed. It went very well. The DOA trigger was long but very smooth, almost like my Smith and Wesson 66. The recoil wasn't as bad as I thought it would be for such a small framed pistol. The only complaint I have is with the stippling on the grip. After a couple hundred rounds it begins to dig into and irritate the hand, and by the end my hand was sore, But nothing a Hogue slip on grip cant fix.

This is the best I could do at around 7 to 10 yards. Using Federal JHPs.

The best you can do will do just fine. Looks great. Glad it's working for you and doing everything you want and expect. Many here have utilized the old bicycle innertube trick to ward off the roughness on the hands. Seems to work well and doesn't change the overall size of the gun.
