I have been around for a long time. (70 yrs). Have never been a staunch supporter of either party depending on what is happening in the party. The Democrat party is not the one I knew for so many years, but has been taken over with "Progressives" -PC for Socialists - Marxists - Communists. I have voted Democrat in the past. Can't even imagine why ANYONE would now. There are a lot of good people in the party. Why are they not trying to take it back? Fear of Prince Harry, Queen Nancy or King Obummer? Must be!

If the intent of this attack on the second amendment is meant to be a smoke screen?
Taking the national focus off of the deficit, ObummerCare, Immigration and the rest of Hitler’s agenda?
The to some degree, at least for me, it has succeeded.
My hope is this fundamental assault on the bill of rights and constitution will backfire.
And consolidate members of all parties against this common foe.

As long as illegals are allowed to vote, and voting officials are voting 6 times themselves, there is no possible way of a backfire. If there were, his first 4 years of FAILURE would have been enough. We are in scary times, no doubt. Also, there is a growing belief in entitlement from the young that believes they should receive free stuff via government, and they don't believe in the Constitution any more. I'm just glad it's THEM who'll have to live in the government they're creating.

Progressive socialism goes back to the days of Woodrow Wilson and FDR. The democrats never were the party of the working class. The democrats just used working class people to gain political power. The labor unions that support the democrat party were started by socialist and communists and are run by organized crime. Anyone who values freedom and considers himself a liberal democrat is someone who hasn't learned from history.
