How about telling us what the level of his belt loops were. Tighty whities showing or at waist level? Hoody / No Hoody.

Obviously the youth was black, a white kid would never pull a gun on a cop. (sarcasm) All joking aside, whatever color the kid was I support the cops. They can't risk their wives not having them come home because of some dumb kid.

This was my thought too. Not any of the kids I hung out with when I was a kid anyway.

typically 16 year olds don't have .38s tucked in their pants.

The mom that's mad at the police should have been there for her son before he started making terrible decisions.
One shot four times, the other shot seven, why not just shoot him once in the leg /stupid internet peanut gallery
Officer shot dead, teen arrested
March 17, 2013
Brooklyn, New York
The city's finest lost one of their own, as officer Tracy DeLulio was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics just after midnight this morning, in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. According other officers on the scene, DeLulio was investigating a small group of teenagers who were loitering, and behaving in a suspicious manner. DeLulio and his partner, officer Thomas McKenna, approached the group of teenagers at about 11:30pm, after observing them remaining in the doorway of a local business. Officer DeLulio was the first to approach, said McKenna. According to a police spokesman, one of the teens, Makimbe Washington, appeared to adjust his waistband. Officer McKenna, however, saw that the teen was carrying a weapon and called out to his fellow officer. The warning was too late. Washington drew his nickle plated .38 RG revolver and fired five times at officer DeLulio in quick succession. One of the bullets mortally struck the officer in the head, just above his left temple. As officer McKenna prepared to return fire, the teen dropped his weapon, and raised his hands to surrender, so McKenna did not fire, but instead called for immediate backup. The teen was quickly arrested, with probable murder charges pending.
Contacted at her home in Queens, officer DeLulio's wife stated her disbelief between periods of emotional breakdown. Cindy DeLulio, 29, said "That man was my angel. I always waited up for him to get home, no matter how late the shift was, I always waited for the bell to ring at the door. I can't understand why he was slaughtered. I don't know what I'm going to tell the kids.". Slain officer DeLulio was just thirty years old, and in addition to his wife, left behind two children, ages 5 and 6. Cindy DeLulio is expecting a third child in July.
