I have handled a few Bryco weapons and I was NOT positively impressed. Poor quality etc. Get a Kahr or some other reputable manufacturerer.

I have to follow the trend here Snoop. I'd pass that one by and go for something better.
I've had dozens of them come through our property room. I think they are the gun that officially defined Saturday Night Special although I thought they were revolvers, probably Mr. Surveyors RG perhaps.
I've actually had to go to court a couple times as dept armorer. One time the judge asked me why I was there. I told him I really had no idea but I'm on the side of goodness and right.
So he asked the prosecutor why I was there and he said to prove that the gun was functional and operable at the time of arrest.
Best I could do was tell them all the parts were there, I did the stick down the barrel test (pencil was too big) and it spit the stick out.
Couldn't promise it would shoot more than once.
Judge told me I could leave, probably 3 hours of screwing around for a one sentence statement. I love courts.
Seriously Snoop, there's lots better stuff out there. You'll only end up upgrading later, might as well get better from the get go.
Just my 2 cents. (with inflation, not worth the electricity to post this)

Exactly Bawanna. Bryco...Jennings...Raven...Excam were the original "Saturday Night Specials."

thats why if u notice I hve started to give my 21 cents as 2 cents today will get u not a a 15 minute parking in the meter today. They were junk back then and they are still junk today. I did not know they were still around. Definitely a gun that I would like to see gaang bangers carrying that way the good guys might live longer..

I'm a big fan of Bryco, Jiminez, Davis, Lorcin, Raven, etc, autos. As for revolvers, I've found the Rhom and RG line, as well as the older Clerke models to be superb. And, I have yet to wear out any Hi-Point firearm.
There's probably at least 100 million folks in this country I wish could own one of those fine weapons as their single means of self defense.
And, why am I participating in this ignorant thread anyway?
Time would be better spent trimming toe nails and pulling nose hairs.
Oh well... that's 3 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Snoop, you can get the plain blued version of the Taurus 738 TCP 380 for under $200. It is a quality gun with a lifetime warranty. It has a smooth, light trigger similar to the Kahrs, it has a slide stop lever and it stays open after the last round. That's my BUG and I'm very satisfied.
Here is a pic.

Here is one in a PJ Pocket Holster.

Speaking of pulling nose hairs, wife got me a battery powered nose and ear hair trimmer. It's quite the invention, don't pull and make ya cry.
Warning Will Robinson-Thread jack in progress.
I'll PM Ya man...................
Thanks Will, ya damn communist.

Don't know how much one of those Brycos cost but I'm sure for a few dollars more you could at least get the Taurus.

uyup bryco and jennings were the same. Jenning was shipped out the west door, Bryco's was shipped ou the east door, Between the two , they literaly sold millions of the J22 and 380's, cute little bastards though, I think we sold the J22's back yonder for $69.95, can't remember the 380's. We finally just quite sellin them, as they dan near all got returned. This definitely was a gun that u carry often but shoot very seldom.
The only RoF gun ever worth buying....Raven .25....was under 50 bucks back when .25s were common carry guns.

Snoop, the purpose of a gun like that is when your life or your loved ones are in danger. Total reliablity is the requirement. If it is all you can afford, get it. If you can afford another hundred bucks, get a Taurus or Keltec.

If he's so bad off he has to do a Kel Tec, I'll help some how, a little money, heck I'll send a loaner.
Really no reason for anyone that has a computer and can participate here to stoop that low.
Some guys love them, me, not so much.

My PF9 has been totally reliable and is a great little gun.

Oh, hell. I'll give him one of my unused Kimbers if he comes back and asks for it. Like giving shoes to a barefoot homeless guy in the winter in Minneapolis.

not to feed the troll thread, but I still have a 2006 2G P32 (actually bought it for mrs surv) that has been flawless since new. I also had a 1997 model P11 that was flawless (I think I traded it for the P32), and should have kept it. Those were the good ones.
Now, seems like way back in this silly thread I noticed Bawanna talking smack about my RG14...... that there just might lead to a fude... fuud... fyood..... fyud.... whatever, it still shoots - at least it handles snake shot for the little chores around the house:D
Yeah, well I had one, an RG .22, and not all that great for around the house chores in my experience. Actually pretty much a complete failure at that.

I'm shocked:eek:
Don't you know, you have to sort through the whole five gallon bucket of them, pick out the best 10, cannabalise parts, and build the good ones.
Sheesh .... and I thought you knew gunz

I did and I got one that only spit a little. Not enough to hurt. I had no problem with it, but my then wife couldn't figure out how to use it effectively.
