Just took my new PM9 to the range today. 200 fed. Fmj 115 gr. no ftfs no ftes. Used the 6 rnd an 7 rnd equally. I prepped the exact way I was "told" on this forum. Disassembled ( my first hangun) wih ease both the pistol and mag. Cleaned and inspected. Very excited to carry a live ccw for the first time. It feels comfortabel( carried unloaded for two weeks) concealed ITW. Can't wat to fire 3-4 hundred more range rounds tomorrow. Awesome gun so far

O yeah, it is time to have a birthday party bash and get together in honor of jocko's birthday. Only problem, not sure how uncle Bawanna is going to get there without going thriugh the people's republic of Illinois. Think we can get him to fly?

Dear P.,
Why would you carry an empty gun for two weeks? No matter how loud you yell "BANG!, the perp isn't going to fall down. Just curious. :)

I know a lot of people who do that. Wear it around the house to get a feel for it and make sure they don't do anything unsafe.

With a Kahr of course there's really no need as it's a very safe gun.

A few others a little familiarity is a good thing. First time SA auto carriers might benefit from such practice.
Glock would be another.

See if they knock the safety off in their daily routines, holster compatibility etc. Trigger finger indexing.

I bet that PM9 after 200 rounds racks easier, feels smoother to. It just works out that way with Kahrs. Theyare tight to start wth but loosenup faster than one thinks to.

It was very tight in the beginning. Feels smoother after just 200 rnds. My thought in carrying unloaded was to get comfortable. I was not going to carry a loaded weapon that had never been fired. I wanted to practice not adjusting it, finding the best location for ITW, and general feel.

Congrats on the new PM9. I am getting one soon and can't wait for it to get here. It is approaching summertime so I wanted a good lightweight gun to carry.

Just wanted jocko to know I am also pushing hard on 70 and I've slowed down to. On the pizza, that is.
