I sold my CW45 about a year and a half ago. I had gotten into the habit of throwing my LCP or Colt Agent 38 special in my front pocket. As time passed my carry philosophy has evolved (or possibly returned to) the bigger the better.

I started to look for a small 45acp for concealed carry. I looked at the Officer sized 1911's, Taurus PT745's and even the AMT Backup. I read about the new CM45 and decided that was the way to go.

I then realized that the CW45 was going to be both available and familiar to me. I traded 2 Taurus revolvers straight up for a new CW45. I already have 2 High Noon holsters for the CW45.

I just got back from the range with a huge smile on my face. My new 45 and my new Ruger SP101 357 are both keepers. I did the new gun prep found on this website and put 100 flawless rounds downrange. 100 more next week and if all goes well the CW45 will join the carry rotation

CW45's are nice... , and I've got one of the very first SP101's, then available in .38 only, with green "Xenoy" grip inserts.

I did almost the same thing. about three years ago I traded a CW45 in on a PM45. The PM was later stolen and I realized that I missed the CW. Last December I bought another CW45 and It rides on my belt most of the time ahead of ten other more expensive 45's.

I know what you mean O'dell. I also looked at a Beretta PX4 Storm compact and I already own 2 1911s. The CW45 is a great weapon.

I think I'm going to dump my CW45, I like shooting it, but after over 100 rounds it still doesnt feed right, chamber is to tight for my reloads to fit, and when running factory it creates nasty burs on the rim of the case. As a reloader this brass wrecker just isn't the gun for me.

my reloads work fine in 1911's fine, never had a problem and I'd rather get a different gun than buy parts for a brand new one. I got this 45 because the only thing I have reloading components for is 45 and 44 cal. If I can't reload for this, its usless to me.

Then by all means sell it and get something with more tolerance for reloads built in. IIRC Kahrs warranty specifically precludes reloads being covered, as do most gun makers.
