According to the April 2013 edition of the American Rifleman, President Obama is quoted as saying, "We should restore the ban on military style assault weapons and a ten round limit for magazines, because weapons of war have no place on our streets." (Barack Obama, Minneapolis, Feb. 4, 2013)
Someone should tell this constitutional scholar that at one time even smooth bore muzzle loading muskets were considered state of the art military assault weapons and that the possession of those military style weapons is what is protected by the Second Amendment.

I heard on the news this morning that Obummer is (on the taxpayers dime) going to make a midwest swing trip to pump up support for his gun control ideas with the Democratic Senators who are on the fence and not as Gung Ho as he thinks they should be due to NRA pressure....
Dare I say this and I hope to God I'm wrong but I would not be the least bit surprised if smack dab in the middle of his little tour there wasn't another convenient coincedential shooting in the news...Seems to follow a pattern with him.....I do pray I am wrong and only being cynical....

First thing they should do in our economic crisis is take away his freaking plane. Also the VP's plane and Pelosi's plane.
Sell the Beast (his limo) on ebay) and get him a used Ford Taurus.
Keep his sorry backside in the White House and a 1000 Secret Service agents could do something useful like look for terrorist. (Clue) They look be middle eastern decent.

Obama appointed a new Director of the Secret Service today, Ms. Julia Pierson so the new training mandates will go in to effect immediately for the Presidential Protection Staff such as: Which flavor FDS spray works best on jock itch, Which brand of panty hose stays up the best with an ankle holster, How to cross your legs without letting your machine pistol be seen, How to apply eye liner during a fire fight, How to shake your head to one side to get your bangs off your forehead and to show off your ear rings, What color nail polish looks best with a dark suit and won't chip when loading pistol magazines and most important of all, how to use both your hands to effectively express what you are talking about while trying to insert a new magazine in a pistol at the same time.....:biggrin1:....

I still find myself wondering how did this ever happen? I was worried about Hillary the first round and then they entered this piece of crap, I thought it's a shoe in. And then he wins!

Gonna be a real let down for him and family when the gravy train comes to an end and he has to go back to Chicago and hang drapes or whatever it is he did before.
I for one am really really looking forward to it.
No more limo, no more plane, no chef, no 28 assistants for his arse, I mean wife.
Be more dangerous for the poor bastard Secret Service dudes in that safe city of Chicago, course when he's done he might just go home too, heard it's kind of scary in Kenya too though. Wonder if Secret Service is required to go there?

And the spark for the American Revolution was when the lobsterbacks tried to confiscate the colonists' arms at Lexington & Concord.
Of course the Constitutional scholar president wouldn't know much about that, having been educated mostly in Indonesia & Hawaii.
