Look what I brought home today. My first K series pistol. We are getting aquainted today. My hand and its slide are becoming quite close. That is a strong little spring, but I will overcome. Only 250 more racks to go. I've done it before. My CW9 hasn't missed a single beat and I forsee no problems with the K9. Paid 603 shipped for it. I thought that was a pretty good deal for a new K9. Some required pictures!:Amflag2:

One question. Is the CW9 and the K9 mags the same. The look like it and they appear to lock in and release fine. Other than the weight looks like the K9 could replace my CW9 for carry. Interesting I may just consider doing that.

That is a beauty. You are going to love it! I sure do love mine.

Congrats! That looks just like my K9 from March 1998... serial # AR11xx! I had my night sights re-lamped at Trijicon in 2010 and have only had one problem... blew out the extractor with a case rupture on bad ammo. I think that's the only one of 3 that I found.

They use the same mags... K9, P9, and CW9. I use the 8-round extended-grip mags for the range and for carry reloads. I replaced the plastic bases with metal ones and added an O-ring to stop pinches. I carried my P9 today since my P40 is still dirty from the range yesterday. I like the P9 because it's half a pound lighter than the K9.

Actually the deck looks fine, looks like the railing system needs a little Thompsons.

Kind of hard to tell, pictures too close. Nice gun, very nice.

Decking was done in August. You need new glasses. LOL. The railings and the rest of the deck is 20+ years old. All of it was treated in August and plan to do it again this summer. If you look close you can see where my Lab chewed up the wood on the bench. Thought he was a dog not a termite. So just clean your glasses. :D

I used to have a deck that had to be treated. Just got tired of doing it and it always looking like crapolaq. so about 8 years ago, I tore it all out and put in the fiberglass type deck and railing. Looks rustic, washs with a hose, . anyore around here at least when I see new homes going up. I see the knew style decks similar to mine, probalby even better materials today ad certqainly lower in price to what I paid back then to.

I was actually just sh!ttin u about ur deck, as I hope u well knew. Just ol jocko's way of saying welcome to the forum. Only one thing nicer than that K9 and that is a Magna ported K9. Just sayin

also our moderator the colonel. if u look at his plane, he really was a famous war pilot , he shot down 5 planes in his first air battle. sad thing was they were all OURS. ..

I felt like you were just pulling my chain. It's all good. So the colonel is an ace sort of. LOL. :D

Oh yeah, I ordered a pack of striker springs for the K9 and CW9. I assume there's some instructions on the forum for install. :)

Termitbrador retreiver, that lab!

I am enjoying my new/old K9. TRUSTWORTHY, but less flashy. :+)
I believe in a dicyipliiiined (sp) break in. #240-#241-#242-ect.:D
Sorta like Larsons old cartoon of "aerobics in hell"..... #2487. #2488, ect. Now for 2500 leg lifts!

Just remember to laugh!

Got it. I just finished up 500 slide racks. Arms are tired and I'm breathing a little harder! LOL. :Amflag2: K9 is ready for the real stuff now.

Dang! I generally settle for a few dozen. I'd rather have the breakin at the range with some sound and fury... and recoil!:D

If you're doing it for your OWN exercise, I guess that's okay, too. I can rack just fine... could use some trigger finger exercise, though.

I just want to be sure its ready to rock. I did the same with my CW9 and it has been perfect so far. Nothing disappoints me more than a new gun that gives problems. I will let you guys know how it performs this weekend. :D

Hello IT department. Please send over another keyboard for bawanna, we've had another Tinman episode.

Paramedics are clearing his breathing tubes and providing oxygen and body wrap for sore ribs.

Does anybody know what the mark on the front left side of the trigger guard is? It appears to be a stamped "W".

The photo is a little blurry. If it is a "U", that means it is factory refurbished. See the following link to the Kahr website: http://www.kahr.com/faq.asp#q26

Could it be a sideways B? Kahr marks their "blemished, (some cosmetic flaw), guns with a B. I have one, can't find the flaw though.

Put in a Ipe deck about 10 years ago. Doesn't need treating, bugs don't eat it and it won't burn easily. Interesting, useful and beautiful wood.

pic of Walthers and wood. That didn't come out right.;)

Pretty sure it is a W. I have it on my I phone and can enlarge it. Maybe it was returned for warranty work or something.

I sent an email to Kahr and asked about the stamping. They said it was a U that was not stamped correctly and done again. Mystery solved. Also explains how I got such a good price I guess. I am good with it since it covered by the factory for a year. Anybody had any problems with one of these?

phil413tx

I have a T9 that has the U on it. It was produced on Nov 2011 so warranty is gone. I have put 450 flawless rounds through it since I received it in January. I got a good deal on mine and I am glad I did. It has been a great gun! I would have no worries at all about buying another 'U' gun.

jocko

would not bother me one bit, there is really nutting wrong witht hem in the reliability part, and why kahr deems them to b e U models is very hard to even seen..Just sayin

Probably did it on purpose so someone wouldn't know it was refurbished and buy it. Then they tell him "oh it's a U. I'm sorry I don't trust anyone anymore. Hope you have the best of luck with it. Congrats

I just bought the same model in black.

How is your slide to frame fit?

Looking from the rear the left side is a littler tighter than the right side. But no rattle at all. Seems pretty tight and is accurate as can be. :)
