somebody surely should have explained this to the red tailed hawk. Just sayin:amflag:

so so similar to the 9mm vs 45 comparison. the eagle being the 9mm (ultra fast) and the red tailed hawk the 45 (fokking slower than melting butter) and the results is as expected.:amflag:

The Eagle was the .45 slower, but more powerful. Looked like a lot of the fights that I got into. Me being the little sh!t on the bottom. :)

You boys and your caliber wars. Positively entertaining.

I used to be the squashed little guy on the bottom too. I was good at it.

Guys used to count on me to make them look tough in front of their girlfriends. Never could figure out that their girlfriends 99 percent of the time route for the under dog and the under dog (that would be me) met a lot of new girlfriends that way. Sympathy is a terrible thing to waste.

Fantastic... hawk drops in on eagle for dinner... not knowing he'll be the main course. I haven't watched that cam in a while... pretty neat, but is usually boring!

I see Peregrine Falcons dropping in with their lunch here on or near my driveway. The first time was about 15 years ago and we hadn't been here long. One dropped in with a still-kicking dove and waited for it to expire before flying off... about 15 feet from where I was sitting in our breakfast nook... now my computer "room". I've watched the falcons eat a dove and leave nothing but a pile of feathers... pretty quickly.

You really should not post videos like this. All it does is exposes the fact that the eagle has the right to protect itself and it's family. Now that it is out there, thanks to you, the poor eagle will soon have the liberals and that socialist piece of ***** Obama trying to pass legislation to remove the eagle's beak and talons! Nice going Jocko!

I liked to pick on the big kids... the bullies... hit and run... got them running after me and just when they thought they had me, I would drop and tuck and trip them, then jump up and run away. I don't think any ever caught me... don't remember any a$$-whuppings... third and fourth grade... city boy from FL moved to rural Miss'ippi.

I'm not sure if eagles were ever major players here in East Texas (historically speaking), but back in the late 80's the powers that be decided we needed some. Several of our lakes have nesting pairs. I have nothing against them, but I really like our native hawks a whole lot more.

I wish I had a video of a pair of hawks we saw mating directly over my house a few years ago. A buddy and I just happened to walk out the door about the time they were squawking about 2000 feet overhead. They circled each other, spiraled in and locked up ... fell like a sack of rocks til they were about 200-300 feet off the deck ... popped their wings and circled straight back up and did it all over again. We saw 4 "drops" before they were out of sight behind the trees. Their stamina was impressive;)

I don't know........having your way with a hawk during a parachute jump seems more up Jocko's alley to me.

Mr. Surveyor don't seem like the type, guess I could be wrong.

Uh... I was thinking more along the line of two or more adventurous souls, including the video camera-person. There ought to be a market for that kind of "mating" film!
