Newb from SC

Been lurking and learning for the past few weeks and decided it was time for an into. PM9 owner here, and love it so far! I have about 200 rounds through it with out a single gun related issue.

I do however have a 7 round magazine that regularly has a FTF on the second round only! From what I read this is not all that common with SOME of the 7 rounders. I emphasize "some" because I have 2 other 7 rounders that ran flawless.

I will be back to the range tomorrow and hope to run another 200 or so rounds through the gun. Anyway, that's my intro I look forward to learning more from this awesome forum and its members!

Welcome to the forum from Ohio. I'm sure as others will tell you shortly, you have come to a great place with lots of good info to read. I can't speak to the mag issue, but I too am a new Kahr owner. CM9. Runs great and loosens up the more I put through it. Enjoy!

Welcome, Cinderblock. That's a common problem with the 7-round mags in 9mm. There are many posts and threads and posts with fixes and "remedies".

Besides the sanding of the follower to clear the magazine catch, a firm grip on the pistol during firing and chambering helps. There are some drastic sanding techniques, too, lowering the rear angle to front of the follower to keep the bullets on top from going forward and diving.
