Hello All from Franklin County, MO.
I picked up my new CM9 about two weeks ago, and I'm already a happy owner. I couldn't get used to the long trigger pull on my last pocket pistol, a .380, so I traded it in on a .40 that doesn't conceal too well. Then added the Kahr for a smaller gun. I've field stripped it several times, cleaned, lubed, and fired a half box of two brands. Ordered two seven-round mags and emptied both of those, and haven't had a single problem yet. All is good-- except the damned shortage of ammo for those of us who want to send a few hundred rounds through and be able to buy more.
Happy to be here!

Welcome from an Arkansas neighbor. Glad you like your CM9. I'm sold on mine. Yeah, this ammo situation is bad and seems to be getting worse instead of better. I guess we'll just have to wait.

Welcome to KahrTalk. This is a great place ... they even accept people like me who are still waiting for permission (from Connecticut) to own a gun ... which will be a CM9 once I get my permit.

Welcome to the forum, NateB! :) There is a wealth of valuable information in the New Member Area (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56) and the Kahr-Tech (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) sections of the forum.
And welcome to the CM9 Owners Club! :D Our official symbol is the wide grin smily because we are so happy with our purchase that we can't wipe the smiles off our faces!

Lots of us have put the Wolff's 5 lb striker spring (http://www.gunsprings.com/index.cfm?page=items&cID=1&mID=29#188) in our guns. It makes it about a lb lighter and even smoother. And, no, it doesn't cause light strikes.
The best holster I have found for forget-it-is-there comfort 24/7 with my CM9 is the PJ IWB Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). There are so, so many members here that will concur. Paul is a great guy and a real gun lover, and he performs magic with kydex - making the holster incredibly comfortable to where you can't tell it is there whether sitting, standing or moving about. It is like the mass of the gun disappears, becoming one with your body. I carry mine with a 15° cant just behind my hip - the sweet spot. I prefer the one linked above with the over the belt clip. I normally wear the above under a loose shirt.

Welcome! I just bought a PM9, which is similar to your CM9, and love it. I have several Kahrs. They are great guns. We are glad to have you on the forum.
