What a shame!!!! When I was teaching at the Air Force Academy in the early and mid 80's it was a great place to live. Now, CO is dead to me!!!!!!!!!!

I know I will never again hunt in CO. It is a sad thought but I hope the hunting business in CO collapses. I know a lot of independent business will get hurt but it is the only way to get them to change the politicians minds.

I just got an email from my state rep and he's co sponsoring a bill to attract firearms related business's to Washington (weird) He specifically mentioned business's that make powder, primers and ammunition.
He said it most likely won't come up for vote this session but he's working on it and getting support for the next session.
Maybe Washington doesn't suck so bad after all?
The new CO laws are annoying, but this ain't nowhere near NY, CA, whatever. Picked up my renewed carry permit today, pleasant sheriff's office clerk smiles with a "see ya' again in five years", and I can still carry anything classified as a handgun that I can conceal anywhere in the state without local interference.
Repeal of the the 15 rd mag limit at least is going on the ballot for 2014. Be interesting to see how that turns out. In the meantime, the new provisions I disagree with....universal background check and 15 round mag limit....are mostly unenforceable wrt reasonable folks.

I do a lot of work for/with out city Economic Development Corp. and was visiting with the head lady last week. A couple of months ago I had casually mentioned the she "court" some of the firearms related businesses in some of the troubled states for possible relocation to our locale. I mentioned it again last week and she then read me "the (long) list" of manufacturers she has already sent "invites" to, and also mentioned that she was one of about 1500 nationwide that was working the same angle.
There's not a firearms related manufacturer or "event" anywhere in this country that wouldn't be totally welcomed in a great many other places. I would like to see all of them in the unfriendly environments make the move.
