So being a little low on funds i decided to get the 8 round promag for my cm9 just as a range mag (def not for SD/HD). Didnt expect it to work very well but ive had good luck in the past getting spotty mags to work well by tweaking them . i got it for $20 plus $6 shipping off gunclip, which i thought was very reasonable considering CTD wanted like $25-30 plus $17!!! shipping:confused::mad:. i got the mag from gunclip pretty quick for such cheap shipping in about 4-5 days.

took it to the range yesterday and it cycled rounds perfect. i shot a little over 50rds through it without a jam until i ran out of sunlight. the only problems ive had with it is not locking back the slide on the last round and it doesn't always drop free (which for a range mag isnt a big deal to me).

overall for $26 i am very happy with my purchase.

even though im kind of praising this particular promag dont get me wrong. I WOULD NEVER CARRY A PROMAG FOR PERSONAL DEFENSE. I ONLY CARRY FACTORY KAHR MAGS FOR SD/HD.

I have 10 Promag mags that came with my P9 when I bought it a few years ago. Included with the gun were five 7 round an five 8 round mags. I've yet to have any problem with them. In fact they seem to feed more reliably than factory mags, in that they do not exhibit nosedive tendencies. I especially like the 8 round mags.

All four mag types that I use, shown with the P9.

ya seems like promags are hit and miss with certain guns. my last handgun was a hipoint that i never jammed with factory mags but promags would cause it to jam every mag. but with my kahr it has run perfect with factory and promag so far
