Where would you recommend I send it? I've never owned a two-tone gun, and can't get used to it. Besides, I loved my DLC coated P9 and PM9s (and regret selling them...so...I'm taking the semi-discounted route).
Note: I have some gloss-black Norrell Moly-Resin that I MAY try to do myself. Just the slide and backplate (maybe the barrel).
I'm looking for Moly Resin or Cerakote (or fancier), but affordable--I'd like to keep it under $100...$50-$75 is best. Obviously faster turnarounds are better, but I'm fine waiting as long as 4-6 weeks if I have to.

I favor all black guns too. However, I would hate the waiting period not to mention the price. Even thought about the "custom" finish on a Stainless .22 rifle I have. It's not too bad but don't tell anyone it's Krylon.

Is it Taboo to link to another forum? Even if the link will possibly help another forum member? If so, my appologies, but here ya go

Here's another place that does Ceracote fairly inexpensively ($50) ...

Ceracote is the way that I would go. It's a very durable finish.

Yeah, I think Moly-Resin is great (though i dont wanna do my first coating on my carry gun). Cera-hide is just fancy cerakoat I think...more durable and/or a higher lubricity. If I don't get an email reply from CCR, I'll call them tomorrow.

Cerekote is a ceramic based finish. Ceramic is very wear resistant. This is one of my favorite YouTube videos where he really puts Cerekote to the test...

Here is a link on Cerekote's website to help you find a certified applicator in your area.

I've been planning on doing this to my K9 for a while now. There are some really nice example photos on their website that will make you drool.

I like that burnt bronze as well. Are those just off the web, or from a specific vendor?

They are photos from the gallery on Cerekote's website.
