ok,u smarter than ol jocko guys. why would this have anything to do with loading that first round. What does that pin hav eto do with loading that first round without using the slide stop release lever. It makes no sense to me. It certainly doe snot make racking the slide easier. Reducing extractor tension is done on many guns but in myt little mind not for the reasons listed.

Now if I was gonna reduce some t4ension here, I would take about .020 off that extractor back pin or cut a coil off the spring. I thinku will achieve the same thing. I have no doubt all they have done here is shorten this part a tad.

But IMO theire reason for doing such a thing makes zero sense to me but I am here to learn from wiser folks here to. Just sayin

I agree. It's a bit misleading and would be simple to do as you say by shortening either the front of rear pin or snipping a tad off the spring.

I don't see it effecting the first round chambering in the slightest.

Guess I don't get it either.

That's one of the cheapest parts in a Kahr... what... just over a buck! The springs are what cost so much!
