I believe anyone able should move to free zones of this country.
Leave places like Kaliforna empty and bankrupt.

You need to narrow that down a bunch. We got enough pathetic left leaning marry your dog and smoke dope losers here in Washington without an influx of more from CA and those other places.

Perhaps any normal, hetorosexual, morally correct folks with at least traces of common sense should move to free zones. We'll make allowances for Jocko.

Actually it might be easier to move everyone that doesn't qualify to for my convenience the east coast. Be a lot of folks to move out of CA and all the movie sets and hollywood stuff but I think the east coast would be better for them, close to Europe which they apparently want to copy.

Sorry Jfootin and the majority of our membership on the East Coast.

Good for PTR for taking a stand. However, I don't think an unknown company, which was organized in 2006 and employs 40 people, is going to matter to the lawmakers. PTR's decision to leave CT is a political statement, but it won't amount to a piss hole in a snowbank.

That's what happened to urban CO for a decade plus beginning in the early/mid '90s....flooded with Californians looking for a better life and bringing the infection with them.

My answer is, and has been for close to 10 years, support for the FSP...the Free State Project. I may never make it back to their chosen place, where I lived for years, but I will by god continue to support them.

It will if other companies follow suit. Maybe it will start a movement. I agree with Bawanna about people moving to free states. That is what happened in Commierado. Look at Denver. Same thing in Nevada. Most of my family is still there and the rural people did every thing they could to get someone besides Prince Harry elected. But with the populations of Reno and Vegas they didn't have a chance. Both cities have grown considerable in the last few years. Guess where the people come from????

In Washington it's just about split right down the middle but with the higher density of (well Morons for lack of a better term) being centered in Seattle down to Olympia, heavy emphasis on King County.

Over on Alfonse's side of the mountains, wisdom and common sense prevail with a semi influx of (well Morons for lack of a better term) around Spokane.

Seems to be a correlation between high density population and moronism. Is moronism a word, I know I'll ask Jocko, he'll know.

I find it terribly sad that the people who live in the big city with the high density of dirt bags, immorals, and high crime can set rules for the other 90% of the state.

Works the same way for elections. Take out our West side and Romney would be in the White House, what a happy thought that is.

Just heard on the news more manufacturers are looking at moving from Commienecticut. As I said. Maybe it will start something. Whether it will make a big dent or not at least more are joining the fight. We can preach to the choir all day but when the money starts talking, something will happen.

And if there's room for one more displaced Missouri farm boy in Texas and any of the relocated gun companies need a janitor, water boy, pencil sharpener, I'm your man.

Our problem is core Denver metro and Boulder county. Otherwise we're politically more like Wyoming.

I'm afraid it ain't gonna get any better for you either. That's exactly why a friend of ours, a native of Colorado, left. He came back to raise his kids but eventually moved overseas for some good money. I think it had something with being a marine and having idiots decide what he could and couldn't do that caused him to say he had enough.

Hold it there, we have room in AL. I'll split them with you. Also we ranked #7 as the most gun friendly state.

Hey Colt, Kahr, Beretta, Springfield, S&W, come on down.:amflag:

Texas is a big state, I grew up there. As long as you don't move to the same town, you probably won't run into her.

It does seem the metro areas are the problem I think Austin, TX is pretty liberal. That still doesn't make me want to thank the goon from North Korea who seems to want to target it, but I suppose it is a silver lining.

Actually I'm more seriously pondering a move to be your neighbor Alfonse but the wife is talking like she wants to do another state. I don't see how it can work using her plan but she thinks so.

Your close enough I wouldn't completely lose my support, family and friends, still be in a much nicer environment, closer to amenities, since the wife needs to go to town at least once if not multiple times a day.
Living way off the beaten path and going to town once a month or so as I would prefer will not work for her.

I've always considered further east but your area is sounding more and more appealing. A cheap house with lots of room and a small source of income to make ends meet and I think it would fly.

Well Texas is pretty serious about the call of Y'all come...

Divided Senate gives early approval to luring gun manufacturers to Texas

While some gun manufacturers have announced plans (http://www.chron.com/news/article/Conn-gun-maker-declares-intention-to-leave-state-4423905.php) to move because of increased gun regulation in some states, a bill received preliminary approval in the Senate Wednesday that says Texas will happily take all jobs other states want to give up.
Sen. Craig Estes, R-Wichita Falls, said he was pleased to introduce the bill “in great anticipation of more jobs moving to this state.”
Senate Bill 1467 (http://www.legis.state.tx.us/tlodocs/83R/billtext/html/SB01467E.htm) directs the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Office to facilitate the relocation or expansion of businesses that manufacture firearms, ammunition and accessories. It also grants state officials authority to draw money from the Texas Enterprise fund and to seek special franchise tax exemptions, sales tax exemptions, and other incentives for companies who make the move or expand.
Manufacturers in Connecticut and Colorado have signaled an interest in relocating after new gun restrictions passed the legislatures there.
Gov. Rick Perry has sent letters to more than 30 manufacturers (http://www.chron.com/news/texas/article/Texas-Senate-to-gun-makers-C-mon-down-4421180.php), and SB 1467 gives him specific, formal authority from the Legislature to pursue them — along with several other states.
Sen. Royce West, D-Dallas, asked Estes if he would amend his bill to offer the same economic development incentives to grocery stores to combat “food deserts,” or areas of the state with limited access.
Estes said no.
“So we’re going to go with guns, but not food,” West said. “Bullets but not breakfast.”
While 24 senators voted in favor of the legislation, seven opposed it. Republican Brian Birdwell of Granbury joined Democrats West, Sylvia Garcia of Houston, Charlie Uresti of San Antonio, Rodney Ellis of Houston, Jose Rodriguez of El Paso and Kirk Watson of Austin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know what happened with Birdwell out of nearby Grandbury, but I guess its time for us to find out.

All the folks moving here should have to pass a tolerance test. Not if they can tolerate other races of people...

...No, the test is to see if Texas can tolerate them!

Wenatchee is a "democrat free zone" as far as elected officials.

Texas has its issues: Mike Martinez, the current Place 2 Austin City Council member who may become the next mayor, has publicly demonstrated his contempt for the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights.
In the video below, he promises to make gun confiscation – the ultimate and invariable result of registering and outlawing guns – a reality in Austin.

http://www.infowars.com/democrat-official-admits-plan-to-confiscate-guns/

I say that and I like Texas, even have family there. But, with all the Californians and everybody else moving there, it won't be long and it will be just like Seattle. It seems like after they trash an area so badly they have to move away, liberals just go right on trashing the next place with their politics. They never learn.

I've lived in Texas. Intimately familiar, past, with with SA and Austin and spent a fair amount of time in Dallas/Ft Worth. Always liked the state. It owns a good part of my personal history.
