Is there a way for us to change the caliber of our Kahr pistols the way pistols from other manufacturers can be changed?

It would be AWESOME to be able to own just one T-series or just one TP-series or just one K-series and change the barrel and magazine in order to shoot .40S&W or 9mm through the same pistol.

Your like a bucket of ice water on a snowy day.

I don't think it would be a bad thing in the T series. Heck they'd recoup their setup cost from Barth alone and we could start calling him Barth 26 barrels.

Probably not such a good idea in the smaller models.

I think in the old days when we could buy 22 ammo a 22 conversion would be a real seller across the whole line.

Now it's just as cheap to shoot them tiny little 9mm bullets so timing wouldn't b good.

I don't see it happening either. More ice for your bucket of water.

I hear ya, jocko -- but it ain't Glock that makes the conversion barrels.

If somebody can make ported barrels for a Kahr, maybe that same company would make a conversion barrel. Maybe it's not so good for Kahr, but it's great for the 3rd party company and great for the consumer.

It was aimed mostly at the old goat. Probably a NW thing.

could be done by an outside vbendoer of course, but think about this also. I was at a smallg un show this pasty weekend and if there wasone glock for sale there was 500 plus at least. They were everywhere. and there was one lonely cw9. Now if ur gonna make a conversion barrel/kit which brand are u gonna gear up for.

Kahrs an't o0ut there in droves as we well know either. I just don't see that happening even from a vbendor standpointy, but I guess I should never say never, as it makes the one har on the colonels head stand up when I state things like that. I guess we can dream to. Actually I am not sure these barrel conmversions even when offgered by the gun makers are big sellers. U still only have one gun. Sounds good on paper maybe.

sorry I cant end with a smilie, as the coonel has taken that privelidge away from me. He does that sometimes to let me know who still in in chargeand he keeps sending me asticker that looks like those on his airplane, to remind me I could be next.
