Any opinions on the following 3 sights?

Burris Fastfire 3.
Leupold Delta Point.
Trijicon RMR dual illumination.

I am contemplating one of them for my Ruger MK3 Hunter. Is one substantially better than the other?

I am wondering the same thing. I almost bought the Fastfire III a few months ago, and I was looking at it again earlier today. I've read a lot of positive reviews for it.

There is also the EOTech Mini.

I'm also toying with the idea of putting a rail on my .44 mag rifle and mounting a reflex sight, or no more than 2x red dot. I think the reflex would be much quicker sight picture and just as effective out to 50-60 yards. But, my budget would probably be limited to a couple hundred bucks :(

The Burris Fastfire II is about $200. The Fastfire III is about $240 (add $10 for a picatinny mount).

The Fastfire 3 has the on/off switch on the side and the battery can be changed from the top (so you don't need to remove it then sight it in each time you need to change the battery). I think it also comes with a snap-on sunshade.

A few years ago, I had an ATN on a Beretta CX4. You had to remove the sight to change the battery on that one.

Personally, I think I'll just wait until the budget improves and I can afford Tritium. I just don't want anymore battery powdered doodads to depend on.

The Burris has great reviews....
The Leupold comes with mounts to fit anything.....
The Trijicon has Trituim, fiber optic or batteries....

They all have good pluses, but the Burris is definately the price winner.

I am leaning the same way. I like that feature.

I just watched a review by military arms channel on YouTube on the vortex razor sight. He compared it to the trijicon and Burris sights. It's worth a watch if ur in the market

That the RMR is the best of the 3 but most expensive. Burris was the least desirable of the bunch and the Razor offered the best value when considering features, price and quality.
