I know the gun market has been crazy lately but I am going on week 10 of still waiting for my order to be filled and shipped and it is getting frustrating to say the least. Does anyone else have recommendations on a brand mimicking crossbreed? I am thinking that there has to be some other manufactures that have good products.

How about Black Mamba? Does anyone here have first hand experience withe them?

I received a Comp-Tac MTAC in less than a week. It is very similar to the CBST, but with an additional layer of leather on the backing to protect the user from the metal hardware attaching the Kydex and Clips to the holster.

I love it.

I've been using & loving the White Hat hybrid & slide holsters. Last order, a month ago, took 2 weeks to receive. Cheaper too & just as good. :D

I just bought one from these guys and I like it a lot. About a month wait and I like it. I guess they are similar but I don't know for certain.

Did you call Crossbreed? I don't usually encourage badgering a company but when they are that far behind I can see the need to pick up the phone and give a call.

I almost ordered a crossbreed until I heard of the wait time. I ended up ordering a Galco Silhouette. It's totally different than what I wanted, but I took a chance. Should be in the mail this week.

Worth the wait. My G19 and P380 Crossbreed holsters came within about a month. This was before the great gun panic, though.

It took almost 7 weeks for my PJ. Worth the wait though.

I have several Crossbreed holster and love them but the last time I need one I purchase a Fox Holster and I have found it just as good and at a better price and it shipped in 2 days. They also have a great selection. http://foxxholsters.com/

Cancel it? If by chance it's for a CW45 w/CT I can sell you one immediately.

I find it way too noisy to draw out of. Wish I would have bought the lined Silent Thunder instead. I can imagine all the other unlined Kydex hybrids are just as noisy.

Not sure if i'm correct but I believe the founder/owner of crossbreed passed away last year. They may have some management issues since that happened adding to the delays.

I highly reccomend Northstar holsters, I have about 8 of them for various guns. Here is one posted on Armslist available now if you like.

I chose a comp-tac over the crossbreed because the comp-tac completely covers the barrel and front sight. Don't want my front sight dangling out there in the breeze!

I waited about the full estimated time for my pm9 mini tuck, but definitely worth the wait. My barrel doesn't hang out but when I put my t9 in there it sure does. Not a huge bother though.. Cross bread are the best made holster I've seen IMO.

Crossbreed keeps a pretty nicely updated time line on their Facebook page. I really don't think there are any management issues since Mark passed, as Trent is still there and always has been heavily involved. The problem is they just have tons of orders. They get about a day and a half done and shipped each day so they're slowly catching up.

Yesterday they were working on March 21st/22nd I believe (meaning orders placed on that day). Another thing that sometimes slows down their shipping is when they get orders from special groups (like the Navy SEALS) they make those and send them out. Every holster is hand made, so it takes a little bit of time, but they actually churn them out pretty quickly for the sheer number of orders they've had.

I got my IWB from www.concealmentsolutions.com (http://www.concealmentsolutions.com) The owners name is Jason and will actually TALK to you to make sure it's perfect. Same basic design as crossbread but better IMHO. Mine arrived in 3 weeks? Hit YouTube and type Black Mamba Holsters and you will find him and how he makes his holsters.
