My god was it overpriced but I happened across the last two 50 rd. boxes of 115 gr. Blazer Brass 9mm. $30.00 per 50 rds. Headed to the range tomorrow. Finally able to shoot this little beauty! I'll be sure to add a range report.....:amflag:

Be sure to savor each bullet,,,stop to smell the smoke from each round,,,,,, you just never know when the ammo fairy will be around next.

At least you scored some. I haven't seen 9mm FMJ for 3 months around here. I can get .45 relatively easy and for less than 9mm. CRAZY! The .380 around here is 19.95 for 50 rounds.

OUCH!!! I've been getting the following 9mm;
American Eagle $22.00
Remington or Winchester $24.00
And just recently Geco from GE $20.00
All in 50 count boxes. I tried some "Aguila" from Mexico but that stuff is really dirty. No more.
Hard to believe I live in Calif. and still get these deals. Just lucky I guess.

Notice the "warning shot"?? Just kidding, I wouldn't waste a bullet like that. Seriously though, that was a wild one that came from the first mag. Once I got a few through it and got a secure comfortable grip, it tightened up a bit.

Well, 50 rds through my new CW9 without a single hiccup other than the mag dropping out after a shot, but I'm sure it was my own error as I was experimenting with different grips trying to tighten up my pattern. Fed like a dream. Not a single failure to feed. Pretty snappy lil pistol! I can see why everyone loves those Hogue grip sleeves so much. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Bad Cheese, I tried to savor every single round but I just couldn't contain myself.
 :59:
Well, I'm off now to strip her down and lube her up.

Nice shootin...they're a great little pistol! Good luck finding ammo though, luckily I built a stash up before the SHTF.

Hey, I know that guy (target). :)
My CW9 has been flawless from the start so it looks like you got a good one too.
Last time I was in Academy near my house in Houston, they had the Monarch brass 9 mm for the normal price of $12.95 per 50 round box. Course it was ammo delivery day! I didn't buy any as I reload for the 9 mm (+ 38, 357 and 45) Next time I go to Academy and if they have any, I'll buy a couple of boxes just to have at the range if someone needs some.

This panic lately has got me looking into reloading myself. I'm guessing when everything gets back to normal the price won't. 12.95 is the price I remember and I'd like to see it back again but I'm guessing it'll be closer to 18-20 and stay there once everything settles down. I'd like to get a few guys together and split the cost on a Dillon 650. I've also got a 1911 that is starving right now. I REALLY don't like the feeling of not being able to buy ammo. I have a few boxes of 230 gr. PDX1 so I'm good there but nothing for SD in 9mm yet.

You must have better search skills than Indiana Jones.
I haven't seen any 9mm or .45 range ammo in months locally.

We have a shop a bit north of where I live that we have purchased firearms from. They hipped me to an expected shipment. Try that at Cabelas or Gander. lol. They just laugh at you.

I wonder if there is more ammo in New York, Connecticut and Maryland? Surely, with having to reload more often, they can't use it as fast. :)

That's what I'm paying.
