I'm really leaning towards walking in to Gander MTN in the next few days to pickup a PM9 with the night sights. Rumor has it, the one near me will sell you a case or two of ammo to go with it, should you buy a handgun and a few accessories.

Before I do that, are there any sites that stock these with better pricing that I can use for a possible match? Also, what's the magazine situation with Kahr? Are they readily available?

The PM9 comes with 2 magazines so at least you'll have that. If they'll sell you some break in ammo at a decent price (relatively speaking) that's good too.

I haven't seen much in the way of PM9's on the sites I regularly visit.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

I searched high and low for a PM9 when I bought mine. Very hard to find and I probably overpaid for it.

Regarding the magazines, GrabAGun.com and midwayusa both keep them in stock at decent prices.

Alas, someone who asks questions before the purchase!

Their stock comes and goes, quickly, but Ivanhoe (http://www.ivanhoeoutlet.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=75) sells Kahr mags at a good price.

Best of luck with your search and your purchase.

I think Kahr is making a lot more of the CMs because they are flying off the shelves. But you will be able to find your PM9. Just keep looking. I don't know, but maybe Kahr CS can help you find one.

Seeing as how you have decided on the PM9 with night sights, go for the black DLC finish. It holds up real well to daily carry and it looks so cool!

They are often in stock at www.budsgunshop.com
I just kept checking and bought a PM9 recently from them for $630, and they had them in stock for about a month after that. I bought it without night sights because I wanted different night sights than what come with it. Right now they have a CM9 in stock for $419. I would have bought the CM9, but it isn't on California's roster. Buds also has mags in stock.

www.budspolicesupply.com (affiliation to above?), sometimes has them. Right now they have a PM40 and some K9's. They also have magazines in stock.

I watched www.gunbroker.com for a while, but any new Kahrs on there sold by dealers were priced too high, but they are there.

www.impactguns.com doesn't have any in stock now, but they do say you can backorder them, and they do show the prices. Maybe you could call to see what your chances are.

Hope that helps!

I have found that there are some magazines on the secondary market, but Kahr always has magazines available. I bought extra ones directly from them.

www.cheaperthandirt.com also has a lot of Kahr magazines, but they are a little more expensive than dirt these days. ;)

Thanks for all the input so far. Good to know that the magazines are readily available. I've been waiting forever on some from S&W. Best pricing I've seen today is $650 on the standard PM9 and about $780 for a bitone with the night sights.

I'm probably not one to speak as I'm a newbie, but if price is a concern look for a used one that's already broken in. They show up on Gunbroker & Armslist quite regularly. Kahrs are so good you won't be buying someone else's problem. Also, definitely go for the all black.
