So I was wondering what people have done to add a threaded barrel to a P9?
I know PM9 users are simply buying a P9 barrel and having that threaded.
Is the TP9 barrel different that the P9? Meaning, could I order a TP9 Barrel for my P9?
I e-mailed this question to Kahr customer service and they responded by saying that the barrel is not compatible??
Is this true?

Welcome to the asylum Scoobydo.:o I see you've already met one of our leading patients. I believe he's in charge of maintaining the integrity of our BS and lie detectors. He just has no use for lieing conniving BS'ers. The artillery cannon idea is actually one of his finer idea's and I think I'll try that out myself first chance I get.
There's really some good guys around here and lots of experience to share and learn from. It's not always as pleasant as this particular instance but you have to take the bad with the good.
Again welcome.
PS- anybody know if artillery cannons are right or left hand thread?:w00t:

Right hand thread at the breach. The shells weigh 80-120 lbs though, so reloads will be scarce. I think my BS-o-meter must be brokeded, I keep coming to this place. And why thread the barrel unless you have a can and a couple hundred extra dollars to give the gubmint.

:) Aw, what does Kahr know ! They are a bunch of LIARS ! Hell, if I was you I would just stick a barrel off of an old artillery cannon on there. Thread her all the way down to where ya stick the fuse in it. You are wise to 2nd guess Kahr. They just make me sick with their "Know It All " answers. I mean what makes them the " expert's " huh ? It's not like they made the gun or anything............LMAO !
:D
me some of those pills ur taking:o:o

LOL
Ok, I guess I have my answer and that would be no.
I just thought that since they were basically the same gun, that you could do that. I did not think the barrel was any different, but I guess they are.
Sometimes companies say no to things even though it can be done, which was my thinking.
I guess the only option would be threading the P9 barrel and adding an extension.

I think somebody around here got a ported P9, was it a P9? The kind that extended a half inch or so in front of the slide. I think those are available from Kahr, maybe that would work.
I'd research more for ya but I'm busy trying to figure out this damn artillery cannon barrel option. As mentioned it seems the bullets are a might heavy and something I'll have to deal with. Wheaties every morning for sure.

scoobydo, I submitted a similar barrel swap question to Kahr's tech dept. not too long ago. I was told the TP9 barrel would NOT function in a P9 or CW9.

So the liars told the same lie twice! I think if they use the same lie one more time then it becomes the truth and people will start to believe them. Scarey. Thanks for letting us know.

:) I e-mailed KAHR and asked them if I could take a fmj 45acp. round and beat it into the chamber of a PM9 with a claw hammer.
They said NO.......Is this true???
Hell, Im gonna do it anyway. What do they know!!!
LMAO !!!!!!!........................................... .........:D
Why those no good forked tongue lieing son of a bucks! How big a claw hammer you using? I'd say a nice 28oz framing hammer would do that job nicely. Be sure and take some nice before and after pictures to share. Oh yeah, I see your using the FMJ, that's what I'd start with also. I'm thinking scratch the framing hammer, the waffle face might screw up the primer, best use a finish hammer or maybe a ball peen. Good luck, be patient, I think it'll work just fine.

Actually, a drilling hammer should be better still...or a 4lb maul hammer.

Sounds like a solid plan to me. Maybe just for safety sake, probably won't need them you could wear safety goggles. Maybe let the wife wear ear muffs. The gumi bear was a brilliant idea.
Gump your a damn genius.
Oh don't forget the pictures of your wife holding the gun before the operation.
I just love this research and development stuff.
