Hello everyone,
I just bought a new CM9, and I have noticed the barrel feed ramp is not smooth. It has verticle light scratches on it. I have not fired it yet but is this an issue? Is your feed ramp smooth?
Thanks again for any help/advice.

Congrats on the new CM9. It's a great little gun.
Do the breakin and then revisit this issue is my advice.

Agreed. Vertical "Light" scratches should not effect function.
Not difficult to polish the ramp if you decide you think it's needed. Some very fine sandpaper on a pencil, and / or a buffing wheel on a dremel would make short work of it.
I'd shoot it first before you address it.

Thanks everyone! I was just curious as I used to own a PM9 and it had a smooth feed ramp.
I will shoot it and see how it performs.

If it gives you any trouble, the feedramp can be altered and smoothed in just a very few minutes with a pencil and some 600 grit sandpaper. It will also help make the gun function without the need to release the slide lock to chamber a round.

lets not worry about sumpin until it occurs. Shoot thefokker, give the gun a couple hundred rounds for reliability. If that feed ramp is an issue it will let you know real fast. I seriously doubt that it is, but the colonel and utters have given u some nice options to smooth the feed ramp also. Not rocket science. If u have any flitz and or some fine 600+ grit paper, u can do a super polishing job on that ramp to just enhance everything.
First though like the colonel said (and we hardly ever agree, as he is normally 90% wrong and I am normaly 98% rght) is to shoot it first. Don't fix what ain't broke..
