Hey guys, I finally tried my hand at reloading. For some reason they aren't feeding properly. Any ideas?

Frank, in addition to checking overall length, you should also check the bullet diameter. You gun might have a tight chamber preventing these otherwise pristine projectiles from fully chambering.

Hmmm, I'll see if it makes a difference. I hate to pull em though. It took me forever to get all of the used powder off of the ground and I don't want any spilling out.

Frank! Where you been?

I think that your seating die may be just a little too much out of adjustment. Other than that, they look pretty good.

Look good to me, I say use a little more gusto. Smack the back of the slide, they should go fine.

More powder and stroke the press lever FASTER with a slamming motion:86:.

If that dosen't work, try mixing/blending a fast and slow powder 50/50:madgrin:

Excellent idea Tilos, probably why I didn't think of it. That should be the ticket right there.

Frank, reloading is nothing to joke about. Cut out the BS before someone actually thinks you are for real.

No Laughing Matter!

Don't take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive.

Any new reloader that takes one letter of one post in this thread seriously should really seek out another hobby. Maybe knitting with dull needles like I use. Less temptation to poke yourself in the eye for entertainment.

Frank, all joking aside, I don't know you or your posting history. On other forums that I read about reloading they would label you a "TROLL" ;)

As a new reloader I'm extremely careful and if your going to joke around about it make sure you label your thread as a joke.
Please!!

You know, I got be honest. I don't own any Kahrs now and guess I quit checking in for a little bit.

When did this place get so serious? :)

Bawanna

We certainly have a serious side and apply it when needed. Genuine issues, tweeks to cure things, new folks seeking help but there will always be plenty of room for non serious stuff.

I believe that is what sets this forum apart from the make a funny get banned forums I hear about.

You haven't become a troll have ya? I just vouched for ya and I'd hate to soil my reputation or have my profiling skills come into question.

Not sure of exactly when it happened. I think sometime in November? Big downer.

We sometimes even have threads that don't get highjacked.

Anyway, you know you're welcome here (I guess )

Actually I think your right. It was a big national downer in November that instantly made nearly everything we talk about here except some of Jocko's perversions a political argument. I still have nightmares of all the pathetic free cell phone losers jumping up and down and dancing in the streets. While I cried and tried to drown my sorrows in 12 year old scotch and felt sympathy for the rightful winner who lost to illegal votes.

Maybe we could impeach the bum on grounds that it's negatively effecting our beloved oasis of a forum? Worth a shot, nothing else seems to be working.

Agree. Time and place for everything. One thing I never saw here was a bunch of nannies banging their pots together. We always had a good time and still somehow managed to help people figure out their problems or offer suggestions.

The story on these: I was shooting my XDs last week and managed to recover a half dozen rounds from the embankment. I stick them back in their cases and snapped the pic.

That night I hit up a buddy that is a reloading KING. I asked him what I was doing wrong and we texted back and forth for a while. I finally sent him this pic. I can't post his answer here :)

12 year old scotch? Best I can afford came out of the still about 2 days ago and if you want it to be scotch colored, dunk a tea bag.

BTW - sitting here waiting for the "big" storm to come through! Winds supposed to get to 45 mph. I'll probably not have power later this after noon.

Actually I was just showing off, all I got is the two day old stuff too and I have to reuse the damn tea bags multiple times.
Just don't want nobody thinking I'm a poor derelict slob living hand to mouth or in this case bottle to mouth or I guess even more accurately jar to mouth.

Seriously, nothing I posted here is a recipe for anything:rolleyes:.

Somebody had their cereal pissed in this morning:2rolleyes:

Bawanna

And I never ever use a recipe posted here without confirming it in a reloading manual or manufacturer website and seldom then as you can't believe anything on the internet.

Too simple for a minor typo error to blow yourself up.

Sounds like a good idea to me also. I got carried away only because some readers might have taken you serious even though the pictures were outrageous and couldn't happen. Anyway, I agree to a new start. :Amflag2:

Well, I'm quite relieved to read Ikeo74 has a real husband. With her "Settle Down" I thought she may be Sister Mary Ikeo74 coming back to beat my poor knuckles to death like little Nightmare. Only her settle down was always "SETTLE DOWN YOU LITTLE %$^%#$^!!!!!!" Then in chorus "Yes Sister Mary Ikeo74." We always thought she may have been the caretaker of the alter wine, but were to scared to find out.
