My wife carries an LCP pretty much every where she goes. Back when we bought hers I bought one for myself and one for my dad as well. Both of them love there's but I did not care for the grip and trigger of the LCP and sold mine. I picked up a TCP one day and tried in and was shocked that I actually liked something made by Taurus. The TCP has a better grip for my larger hands, far better trigger and adds the lock-on-empty feature as well as an LCI. I have had my TCP for over a year and have fired hundreds of rounds through it without a hiccup. I picked up a second one this week on trade.

The TCP feels larger in my hand but the pictures tell a different story.

by looking at the pics it seems not much of a difference at all, but aparentely you can feel one. and that's all that counts. never shot the lcp but used to own a lc9, nice pistol liked it a lot. until i held and shot the k9.

JFootin will be along in a minute, he has a TCP and says he loves it....I had a LCP and it was ok after a trip back home to fix double feeds....I have a bum left hand and have a hard time racking the slide on a pistol that size so went to a PM40 for pocket work but for someone who can deal with either an LCP or TCP they make great affordable little pocket guns....

By the way, welcome back here Frank, good to hear from you again....I like the new avatar....That is one of my all time favorite movies even though its done with puppets, still lmao everytime I see it....."America F*** Yea"

Nice comparison in the two. I've been mulling over the idea of picking up something small like that for my wife....she has the requirement of pink, so my options aren't the biggest.

That LCP is "Raspberry". It was a dealer bonus if they ordered a set number of guns. She loves it.

Thanks bro. I'll stick around. I miss the light-hearted banter of this site. Everywhere else seems so uptight these days.

The TCP has been made in pink, though it might be hard to find one. They come in brushed or blackened SS.

I have bought 2 TCP 380's. I had fired 400 rounds of different ammo brands and bullet types thru each pistol. My youngest daughter claimed the first one as her smaller CC and after buy'n a second one and breaking it in my wife claimed it as one of her CC's. I still have one more girl and before I buy another TCP I want to be sure shes is comfy with her 38 ultra lite first.

Both have been reliable from round 1 for me and the ladys have shot enought on there own to like them just as well. Good micro pitols at a great price at a good lgs.

I have a TCP and always liked it other than the trigger feel. Changed the trigger to an RTK aluminum trigger and it completely changed the feel of the gun. Now I absolutely love it.

I agree. I'm glad the Taurus works for frank and others but ruger is as low/cheap as I go.
