As I said before.....the world is upside down. It appears a lot of people are angry everyday and ready to blow up over anything. It is very sad.

Excellent job on the cops part though. Driver didn't even bother to open his door just returned fire through his own windshield.
Our guys actually had some training days where they hauled junk cars up to the range and practiced that.
It's totally unnatural but it's the right thing to do when the clocks ticking.
Glad the good guys won on this one.

Glad to hear the good guys survived that one and of another parasite down. Its the world we live in and its chock full of ignorance. Thats why I carry too. With wisdom and morality comes responsibility. I'd be willing to bet someone who knew him had knowledge of his actions and had a crisis of conscience. Apathy is our greatest enemy as a community, society & nation. Politicians aren't going to fix it either, the responsibility is ours. Thats what I preach and practice. Anyone know any more about this? Where he got the rifle? I really hope it wasn't legally acquired.

Your post is provacative. "the responsibility is ours"? What do you mean by that? I am not flaming you. I really want to get a fix on your position regarding "what you preach and practice".

I think I get it but I'll let bulletdodger translate.
I don't think "the responsibility is ours" is related to I hope the gun was not legally acquired.
More like don't turn the other cheek when you know your neighbor is a whack job. Probably not saying this right.

you are right. I went back and he said it twice. The male cop drove his gun hard and drilled him at the end. Did you hear the civilian? "Are you ok? I have a pistol" Kind of funny to hear.

I don't know if the gun was legally acquired or not, but that really doesn't matter. It was illegally used and that's what matters. I don't think that he will use it illegally again. End of story.

this tid bit of common sense is lost on most folks.
Here's a slightly more detailed news account of the incident. Both officers were wounded; one lost a finger: http://www.nydailynews.com/watch-ohio-driver-killed-gun-battle-cops-article-1.1335608#bmb=1
