I really want to replace the front sight on my Kahr CM9 with a fiber one. I am looking at the below front sight.

http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80000D0E-1278690287

Also I thought this tread might be good to list other aftermarket front sights for the CM9 here.

Any other good fiber front sights out there?

I believe the sights you have linked above are dovetail sights and not appropriate for the CM9. Take a look at this link for the DP fibre "staked" sights. (http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80000A52-1248736356) They should work for a CM9. Unfortunately, they are not in stock.

Dawson is a great sight. Just call them to be sure they make the sight for the gun. I have their front sights on my M&P PRO40 and M&P22LR. Great companion guns with great sights. I highly recommend Dawson.

I looked at my slide last night and it has the dimple on it. So I think that is the right one. Not sure if it is that now or the staked verison.

You just need the new style rear and the staked on front. Call or email them and they will know what you need.

They do make them and they are a nice sight. The front is actually easier to install yourself than the dovetail which can sometimes be tough.

They will also install for you if you choose.

ok great. I probably will just call them to verify before placing a web order. I want to replace both the front then the rear but not at 35.00 a pop. So I may try to do them myself if no special tools are needed. Just dont want my front sight flying off.

I've tried the stock sights, the Kahr tritium front, novak rear, at last I got a dovetail milled in the CM slide for TFOs. saved the best for last! now my 70 yr. eyes see the front sight day or night. grn. front / yel. rear. why didn't I get PM? money saved on CM payed for the dovetail! even took off the laser max!
