Flat mags on cw9

The only thing I don't like about my cw 9 is the mag extends too far below the grip. Can a mag with a flat fit from another model fit the cw9?

Only longer mags fit the CW9. I put the black metal base kit on my P9 and used a 3/32" by 3/4" inner diameter neoprene O-ring to stop pinching. I DID have pinching on my P40 and the O-ring stopped that. I don't like the protruding "flush-mount" plastic bases... and don't need the finger extensions... two fingers on the PM9 works for me and there is more room on the P models.
