Just a video scenario where a hi cap mag would be right handy. I guess it could be a nice plug for having a 45 as well but why stir up Jocko this early in the morning.

giveme 17 rounds out of my glock over any fokking 45 1911, ur even assuming the BG got hit every time in those 7 rounds of so mighty powerful 45 where as I can afford to miss a few times with my trusty glock and 17 rounds. and still let both make the same trip to hell. compliments of 9mm..
U 45 guys just love to dream though. I can't fault u over that.
semper vulgare!! Just sayin

Special Forces wanted their .45's back. That speaks volumes for me. Of course we're talking hardball here, and 9mm hardball, is a whole world apart from a Gold Dot or HP ammo of your choice.
Now with that SAR-K2 14+1, and some Springfields with 13+1, and some of the other higher capacity .45's, it kind of evens out things for those that need that many shots to hit the barn. Just sayin, LOL.
Give me anything 9mm and up, with good ammo, and I'm good to go. Then you got us poor saps that still like our revolvers, with 5 or 6 or even 7 or 8 rounds. My 686+ holds 7 and Taurus has one that hold 8 in .357. That 686+ sure plays hell with my speed loaders though.

If you're into serious social work it's hard to beat a double stack .45 ACP. but, a good option might be a high cap twelve gauge pump with a pistol grip.

I thought the video was very good and direct. You never know what your gonna be up against, and why should a law/government have any right to tell you what your mag capacity should be.

That was a very high quality film production. A realistic and hopefully eye opening (to those who like to live in this world with their eyes shut).
Thanks for posting.

Remember Jocko's own statement about his grouping. He needs that 17 rounds of 9mm to get 3 on target :D , just sayin. :amflag:

It won't mean anything to them. They want the homeowner with the gun, how shall we say it ........... dead.
The homeowner doesn't think like the politicians do.
Nothing that could not have been handled with a 1911 in competent hands. Spray 'n pray guy wasted at least three rounds jerkin' 'n blinkin'....actually lucky he hit either of them with his eyes closed like that.
Got a gun? Prolly oughta know how to use it.

I was thinking the same thing at first and then realized they were trying to show the non-gun person still using it as a tool to protect his family. That type of person really needs those extra rounds! In a panic situation I think I would need those extra rounds. And I know if I'm not home, my wife would need those extra rounds.
Here is a behind-the-scenes video that shows their thought process to make it realistic.

Which supports my initial call of whut and now brings it up the the level of BS. They used an actor who'd never fired a gun before and recorded his reaction............ Really nice safe but no clue how to properly use what he took out of it.
Hollywood flakes.
I know how to shoot. My wife knows how to shoot. We also both have the will and competence to kill a/r.
