I got 2 Act Mags for my cw45. they feed perfectly, but are intermittent on locking back the slide on empty. I filed down the top radius a little bit, as it looked like it needed a bit more clearance. Upon looking closer into the problem, I see that when the last cartridge feeds, the part of the follower that pushes up on the slide lock protrusion is actually under the protrusion. So far I have only hand cycled the action--haven't had a chance to get to a range to actually fire. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Pete
*Edit: the lower shelf on the follower is above the slide lock protrusion , not as stated above

I didn't know they even made Kahr magazines. One thing I do know is generally hand cycling is not a very good indication of how they a firearm will perform as opposed to actually shooting it.On many AK-47 rifles the bolts will hang up when hand cycling and people are concerned enough to post about it but when they go to the range everything seems to work out for them.

I cant remember but can you bend up the follower a bit to make it hit the mag release?

I`ve got two Act-Mag 7`s, at the range the other day they worked perfectly, except for 1 stove pipe. I consider that to be a teething problem on a new gun, only 300 rounds so far. All i had to do was a little filing for slide clearance. Being metal, i`m sure that minor adjustments to the follower would be easy.
After the filing job, i hand racked them and had a couple failure to lock backs, but at the range they worked fine. (could it be my weak hand didn`t get the slide all the way back? not sure.)
