Really no surprise there. If you think it would help I don't have a Sig, just send me that Red Headed stepchild Kahr and I'll compare it to some stuff I got. If we don't bond and connect in a positive way, I'll just send it back and pass it down the line. Theres some gun for everyone and who knows maybe me and your PM45 were meant to be.
I only offer this as a public service. I really gotta find one of those to shoot to see if I really want one as bad as I think I do. If not, well safe queens need love too. Maybe I'm just a gun gigilo?

I'll meet you in the classifieds when you post your PM45 for sale...

Just kidding man. The Sig is absolutely a great gun and I don't think you'll get any arguments there. I still think you are comparing different types of guns like the Kimber vs Kahr thread.

Have you ever shot a P45? If so how does the recoil compare to a PM45? I was wondering if there was a noticeable difference.

After my Miller Custom tuned Nighthawk Custom 1911, I'd keep my P45 over any of the other 70+ pieces I own. The Lipsey's Special Ruger Mark II would be 3rd...

Hell i shoot circles around my PM9 with my G19 tuned by accurate Iron. Never shot such a super accurate gun, ever. That being said, My PM9 rides in my front pocket 24/7 while the G19 is not a safe queen (don't have a safe) but it is my home gun along with my K9.. I just think any gun even alittle bigger than the PM9 is reaching the marginal area of pocket carry, and if I was going to waist band carry, more than likely it would not be a kahr, not because of lack of quality or reliability either..

I like Sig's :D My latest purchase is a Sig p229 in 22LR. I have had a 9mm conversion kit on order for it for 6 months. Although I do love my PM9 for carry I really wanted a good larger size semi for plinking. I sold a Walther p22 and traded my trusted Taurus PT99 AFD in on the Sig. I figured I could have both a good quality 22 and a solid larger 9mm to put rounds though in one gun. So far the Sig has been flawless. I just wish the centerfire x-change kit would get here.

Jocko, I had a G-19. It was dead reliable from the first mag though it, I just really didn't care for the trigger or the look of it. I have to agree with you on the size. I bought it thinking it was a bit smaller then my full size Taruus but it really wasn't much smaller. I sold it after I got the PM9 but still had the Taurus at the time so couldn't see the need for the G-19 when I liked the DA/SA trigger on the tortsie better.

:)Yep, I also own a older Sig 226. 9mm. ALL German made. It is a sweetheart . I think they have a 22 conversion for those now too.

Yes they do sell the 22 conversion kit for the 226. You can also purchase them new as a 22 and convert the other way. It's actually a little cheaper to buy as a 22 and convert to centerfire than the other way around if you definitely want both. An all German one is definitely a keeper

As much as I love my PM9 I carry several other handguns at different times. The Kahr gets more carry because of its` ease of concealibility and reliability. All of my pistols have proven themselves to go bang when needed regardless of who manufactured them.Kahr,Glock,Ruger,Smith and Wesson,Browning, all fine firearms. Each has its` own job and each does that job very well.I`ve had my eye on a Sig for a while and when the time is right,I`m going to get me one.Happy for you,I am.Jesus,I sounded like Yoda.:laser:

I guess gun gigilo is better than being the Mikey of the shooting world. I'll shoot ANYTHING, and like it.

I call dibs if it doesn't work out for Bawanna. I know how you feel though, I took my G17 and my PM9 last time I went to the range and my Glock seemed to shoot itself and find its way to the center of the target. However the PM series is the sexiest most accurate carry piece I've ever seen.

I own both a P45 and a PM45. I would say that the perceived recoil of the PM45 is somewhat more than the P45, but not objectionable. I did confirm that I had to grip tight so that there was no limp wrist. When I did not grip tight the gun either would not eject or most commonly would not feed the next round. With firm grip the gun runs and shoots point of aim with nearly everything that I fed it. Rounds fed: RP 230gr FMJ, Corbon 165 gr HP and Powerball, Federal hydrashock, Win Silvertip, Hornady TAP, Hornady 165gr Critical Defense (carry load), Speer Gold Dot 230 gr short barrel, and Speer Gold Dot 200 gr +P. Previous loads all fed well and shot POA. Loads not liked: Win 230gr HP Ranger, Remington Golden Sabre, Win 230gr HP.

Sometimes eagerness and impatience can be confused or comingle. I know I am about the most impatient person the world had ever known. I suppose I could be labeled anxious or eager as well.

So are you sending the pM45 overnight saturday delivery or what! I'll pay postage of course. Let me know. In 5 minutes, the clocks ticking.

Oh thanks too.

I love you.:001_huh:

:) Well, the GOOD news is. I went to the range today and put another 100 rounds through my PM45. Remington/UMC 230gr. fmj. Results: Absolutely flawless. This now gives me 200 total rounds since it's return from the mothership. ALL FLAWLESS.

Now the BAD....................................

While there I also shot 100 rounds through my Sig Sauer P239 40s&w. (and, I know I'm gonna get beat for this BUT ) It made my Kahr seem like a Red-Headed Step Child. To borrow a line from Mike Myers on SNL............the gun was like BUTTER ! It is just a awesome/ accurate/ beautiful/ piece of workmanship. I would honestly have to say that it was smoother , and out performed my Kahr in every way. And it is not all that much bigger.

I do LOVE my PM45 but, if I do this very often. It is gonna end up in the safe. SORRY if this chap's anyone's behind. But, I gotta call it like I see it. This was the 1st time I ever shot these 2 guns side by side like this.
I will give the edge to the PM for being a little smaller , lighter, and easier to conceal. The SIG wins in every other catagory though.

I have owned Sigs for years and currently have a P225 and P228. I am moving up from 9mm to 45 cal, but recently, when I was looking for a summer replacement for my CW9, I looked at the P239 in 40 cal. Compared to the PM45, it's a inch longer, over 1/2 inch taller, and .2 inch thicker, so it's quite a bit bigger to me. It's also a half pound heavier. I'm sure that extra half pound makes for a softer shooting gun, but I bought a PM45, because I can actually carry it w/o a jacket.

Well I'll have to admit that I will have some Sigs as a part of my arsenal once I've got my Kahr fetish under control. I will definitely have a P239 and a P228 in my possession when I find the deals I'm looking for.

I'm sorry to report that the Post Office was closed when I went to ship the gun to you. :40: But there's always Monday. Now if I can only remember to send it on Monday. I know I'll write myself a reminder...:bump2: Just a note, don't hold your breath!

Love you too big boy.
