I'm thinking not. Sort of like a new car with all the options to go wrong when you need them the most.

Big brother would figure a way to track them too. In fact they are probably promoting it for that reason.

I'm thinking not. I doubt that it would take long for some BG or the government to figure out how to disable your gun remotely.

I might have something like that on the door to my gun safe, or gun locker, or the door to your room in which most of your guns are stored, so if it a door was opened or safe or gun locker moved, I'd know. But not on the gun. For a safe or gun locker or cabinet, I'd want a tracking system on it too.

Murphy would love a system like that! Just imagine the ways he could make your life miserable! Batteries... electronics... possible hacker or government intrusion and controlling your toys remotely... at the worst possible time... kind of like that video of the couple trying to get into their gun safe with an intruder at the door... needing government permission to unlock the safe... if the possible intruder is positively identified to be ARMED!

What could possible go wrong...?

Don't forget solar flares, EMP, strong RF interference and the like!

It wouldn't work on Kahrs, no safety.

"The loudest sound in the world is a click when you need a bang". How about not even a click? "Just a minute bad guy. I have to reboot this damned thing."

I'll pass. If a bad guy takes my gun, I just want a fast enough 3D printer to whip out a new one right away.

Yes. You absolutely want, and most likely need, one of those. No matter the expense.

In theory it sounds like a good idea, just to many "what ifs" for me to be sold. Like...can more than one figure be programed, like for the husband or wife? What if blood or something else is on your figure, will it still work. Leave that kind of stuff for 007...

Democrats with guns like this are fine, I'll stay the course with mine as-is.

Really, really STUPID ideal that can only make money IF they get congress to make such ceeeerap mandatory on new firearms.
Comyfornia will be the first.

I'll pass, thank you.

I don't want a wireless tracking device on my guns. If, while carrying, I cross state lines into a jurisdiction where I am not licensed to carry, I don't want anyone to know. If I choose to run into the post office, or pick-up my kid at school, I don't want the movement of my EDC tracked by anyone.
