I have a current model CW40 slide and the chance to buy an older K40 frame. I do not have the serial numbers of either the frame of the CW frame or the K40, since the former is long gone and I have not yet seen the latter. In principle, should the two components fit together? Thanks to anyone who knows about all-steel Kahrs and can set me straight.

Things are too different between the polymer and the steel frames. The P9 barrel will fit the the CW9 and the ported barrel is so marked, but the rails and holes and cutouts for pins are different.
