Very interesting article ... I did not know such parties existed ... thank you Mother Jones ... now I want one ... but probably not legal to own in Connecticut.

A lot of silly comments after the story. So many, So happily ignorant of what they fear, and yet when they walk by the armed BG on the street they feel safe cause he's not holding the dreaded AK-47. Just you never mind the 38 in his pocket!

The "untraceable" AK, with no (oh! horrors) Serial number! Why we all know, stamping the receiver with a number makes the gun perfectly safe and keeps it from the bad men. These folks need to clutch their smart phones tight and keep 911 on speed dial, cause that'll save them... YEASH!

I'll have to agree with some comments, addressing those who worried that this story "let the secret out to the BGs". The smart folks were quick to point out that the Bad people don't read "Mother Jones" for their lessons in life. Nor, they noted, would the common street thuggy spend over a grand and a week of their life building an AK-47 that they can steal tonight.

And they call us crazy!

You got that right ... every single gun has infinite possibilities for evil.

Inanimate objects have no propensity for evil. Only man has the propensity for evil. A hammer can be used as a tool or a weapon. Likewise, a gun.

Muggsey, do you think so lowly of me to think I meant it ... I was speaking tongue in cheek ... it's the kind of thing "they" would say.
