What is the best pocket holster for the Kahr p380? Also looking for IWB advise too.

I'm not sure it's the best, but I like the front pocket kydex holster I got from www.pjholster.com. Reasonably priced too.

I really like my http://www.unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com/Pages/default.aspx . Interestingly, I ordered one for the Taurus TCP. It worked well with the Ruger LCP and the Kahr P380. I've used it for about a year and it shows little sign of wear. Obviously, ymmv.

Make sure that you look at the videos on the site. He has some great info that applies to many pocket holsters.

I'm hoping to get my hands on a CW380 when it comes out and since it's equivalent in size to the P380, uncle georges wallet holster has my attention.

I personally like the Bear Creek Holsters back pocket holster. Can be used as back pocket or front holster. Best of both worlds.

I'm currently using a Tuff Products pocket holster and it seems to work fine. The only one I don't like is the Uncle Mikes/Blackhawk holster with the soft felt-like surface. After awhile the material dries out and you end up with black fluff all over the gun and the inside of your pocket.

I find the Stays-Put Pocket Holster (http://www.concealmentspecialties.com/products.html) very satisfactory. Just $14.95 shipped. Very well engineered and well made. Treated microfiber outside with smooth nylon inside for an easy draw. And it STAYS PUT when you draw, like the name implies! :D

New guy here. I own a Kahr PM9 and P380. I can't rave about the Aholster enough. You can find them here http://www.lefthandholster.com/Pocket_Holster.php

I'll post up some pics later but the quality is super nice and they work like a charm. The way he molds them helps it not "print" as bad. And the little hook on the bottom does its job. I usually grind off the top horn with my dremel (just personal preference) but the holsters are so nice. The thing I like most about it is that it doesn't cover the bottom of the trigger guard so you can get a natural grip on the weapon. Lot's of pocket holsters cover the bottom of the trigger guard and slow down my draw. Not this one.

He'll also work with you if you want a special tweak or something. I order this "Flat" without a right or left hand mold and stick hook side velcro on them and use them for CCW inserts in my Maxpedition Versapacks.

I second the PJ Holster pocket holster. Light weight kydex with a thumb break for easy removal from the holster. Five minutes in your pocket and you forget it's there. Paul isn't happy until you are happy. He's a great guy to work with.

Before you can identify the "best pocket holster", you have to identify YOUR requirements.

I pocket carry a P380 (or clothing permitting, a CM9) and "non-printing" is a non-negotiable requirement. I have been using a Talon "wallet" holster (http://shop.talontraininggroup.com/kahr-and-i-o-inc-hellcat-wallet-holster/) which works very well after a little break-in. The Talon wallet holster is essentially a two-sided holster sewn to an anti-printing panel which means there are three thicknesses of leather. The two-sided holster is free to move away from the anti-printing panel, so drawing is very easy.

For my CM9, I chose a Recluse OS Solo (http://www.recluseholster.com/SPD/kahr-cm---mk---pm-series-recluse-os-solo-pocket-holster--80000372-1349841731.jsp) because there is only one layer of leather and the total thickness of the CM9 + Recluse holster is actually less than the total thickness of the P380 + Talon holster. The trigger is completely immobilized until the pistol is removed from the holster, but drawing is VERY easy. I like the Recluse OS Solo so much that I will probably get one for my P380.

I also have a Uncle George's wallet holster (http://www.unclegeorgeswalletholsters.com/Pages/default.aspx) for my P380. It is VERY thin and lightweight, but it is difficult for me to draw.

Just my opinion, YMMV.

Just ordered the Uncle George's pocket holster.

Linthead, why was it difficult for you to draw?
