I picked up my new CW9 from my LGS yesterday. I disassembled it and gave it a cleaning and lube per recommendations from this forum. The Internet was down here yesterday so I had to rely on my memory for the procedures. I blew out the striker channel with some GunScrubber and used some Hoppes and patches to remove the oil applied by the manufacturer. A little Remoil and reassembly and I was good to go. Went to a local sand pit and put about 60 rounds down range. My gun functioned flawlessly and was more than accurate enough for my intended CCW use. I'm quite pleased with this little gun and looking forward to some range time so I can work on my trigger press and see what kind of accuracy I can squeeze out of it.

Great job, Kim. I love my CW9. I've put about 600 rounds of just about everything I could find in both FMJ and JHP and the only hiccups (3) were due to limp-wristing during the first couple of shots by both my wife and son.
Being my first SA, I used the manual and the picture for the lubing the first 3 times but now it's all 2nd nature. Enjoy your "tinkering"!

Congrats on the CW9. I love how it feels in the hand. I've had mine for 10 days and haven't got to break it in yet. Hoping to do it today but don't know if ill have time. Only indoor ranges around me(which I hate) and hard to find ammo makes it difficult to make the trip. I'll let everyone know how it goes. GL

Congrats on your CW9. I've had my P9 (CW9 wasn't around then) since 2002. You will enjoy it.

I recently picked up a NIB Kahr CW9 and stopped carrying my Glocks. This Kahr is just a dream to carry all day and forget it's there:)

The CW9 is a great gun. Enjoy!
Funny, though, I thought the CW9 was small until my wife picked up her S&W BG380. The BG makes my CW9 look like a cannon.

I had not joined this forum yet when my CW9 came in. UPS delivered mine to me the first thing I did was wipe the excess oil off and check the barrel for obstructions.
Over the coarse of the next two days between three of us we put about 500 rounds through it. The ammo ranged from Federal Tactical, Winchester Ranger, Black Hills to Tula and my hand loads of cast lead bullets. Not a single hiccup with the gun.
I then read the cleaning procedure and decided to give it the first cleaning early. I think Kahr must sweep their floors and then dump the sweepings in their guns. The fact this gun even functioned with all of that crap in it impressed me.
It was intended to be a back up and off duty carry. I like it so much that it also has become my primary carry most of the time and my range plinking gun.
