well have to know the rules of the state. The woman in Florida which is doing jail time because she gave her battering husband a warning shot instead of shooting him. Here in Oklahoma I would probably do jail time for a warning shot.

Not saying I agree with the laws but none the less they are the laws.

You don't fire warning shots. You shoot only in self defense and you shoot to stop an assailant. Pulling the trigger should be the action of last resort.
