View Full Version : Replacing the recoil spring in a PM9

I was browsing another forum and did a search for PM9 related posts. The following e-mail text was posted in one of the responses in a thread that dealt with replacing the recoil spring in a PM9.

I've not ran across this info in the owner's manual (unless I missed it). Anyone else have any comments on it?

Does this include replacing the recoil guide assembly or just the recoil spring?

We recommend changing the recoil springs in all of them about every 1200 rounds. Please email me back if you have any other questions.

You concur you didn't see it in the owner's manual or you concur the springs needs to be changed every 1200 rounds?

no doubt the cheapest thing one can change in his semi, and know that it is not harmng one thing. If in doubt change um..

Spring issues will not always be visible. I too concur, if in doubt change 'em.
