I carry a Fenix PD31 and a Surefire. The Fenix in a little bag on the front of my chair and the Surefire in a back pack on the back.
Along with a Surefire spares carrier for 6 batteries.

I have two surefires but switched to a AA powered light. I got tired of replacing the 123a. They are not cheap!!

I'll have to check at work, don't remember the name of the place but I get the 123's for 91 cents a piece rather than the 3 or 4 bucks a copy in the stores.
I buy them for my police dept, and get 200 at a time but the price is still very good in small quantities. I just order my own with the depts so it works well.

I carry a no-name $15.00 cree led light, about 150 lumens. It uses 1 C battery, and a Ray o vac that switches from 110 to 180 to strobe, which uses 3 AA batteries. That sits next to my bed.
I carry the no name most often as it's very compact, 4"x 1" at the widest, and came with a little holster for it.

Just for a lark, I bought the Mini Cree light that they kept showing as a best deal on SlickGuns; $4.39 shipped. It uses one AA and is pretty bright. Real nice construction.

I carry the 5.11 Atac PLx. It only does 80 lumens, but has come in real handy for pocket carry.

Streamlight Microstream. 1 AAA battery, brighter than it ought to be, and very easy to have all the time.

I will preface this by saying 1 is none,2 is one....
I carry an older model olight T10 in pocket weak side(max ~180 lumens with great throw) An olight I1 eos weak side clipped to pocket(max~180 lumens, with good spill... It's my work light) And when I'm wearing long pants or don't plan to be in any super fancy places I also weak side owb an olight m20s-x (max~500 lumens with spill and throw)
2 of these lights also have a strobe feature, these 2 are carried as tac lights
I am not in any way affiliated with olight, I just prefer them as a great light for a good price

I have some small powerful lights (by Surefire, Streamlight, Fenix, Jet Beam, et al.) that I carry as I perceive/anticipate the need for one of them, but the light I carry every day is a Pak-Lite Ultra:

LOL, I love your restraint sir! The beauty of that little P32 (besides being thin and lightweight) is that it never misses a bit. I carry it all the time and have many, many rounds through it (all without issue, not counting the time I forgot to chamber a round:o). My wife bought it for me and she has good mojo.:)
Here's another you probably won't want (though i dig it). The flashlight is a
Defiant Tactical 5C 625 Lumen LED; got it at Home Depot for under $30 (like it better than my old Streamlight Ultra Stinger.

Not sure what that even is but two halves being held together with screws does concern me some.

I bet your an awesome fishermen, dangling them worms or toys.
Me, guess I'm just a hungry fish.

I just picked up the Surefire E2D LED Ultra 500 lumen light, so far it feels nice LOL. I literally took it out of the box and put it in my pocket. I have been carrying an Eagletac D25C2 450 lumens, which has been a very nice light at a great price.

I have the same light as jfootin in my car, works great for $4 on amazon. I also have stream light proTac 2L for about $35 on Amazon. I highly reccomend the stream light since it has a strobe and low intensity mode. Very bright takes cr123a battery.

I just picked up 4 of these (as advertised) 40 lumen/4 hrs led lights at Lowes for $2.97 apiece: http://www.lowes.com/pd_472904-50387-DFL-23_0__?productId=4573658&Ntt=flashlight
I played with them some last night and think they are nice little lights (especially so at the price point). I'll probably pick up a few more.:)

Lots of good lights out there. I personally own 2 streamlight stinger rechargables, one of which has been used extensively and is as rugged as hell. I have a little Fenix PD, a jetfire, an old surefire, and my latest, which I carry daily is a Klarus XT11. It is totally blinding at 600 lumens and floods a dark room like nobodys business. http://www.klaruslight.com/plist_show.php?id=2&lge=en

They can be cheap.. I buy them in bulk at $1 per... search around.
I tried to carry a Surefire E2D I got at a match, put a LED head on it, very bright, but couldn't find a comfortable way to carry it; felt in the way in a pocket (is that a tac lite or are you glad to see me), clipped on the belt w/mag,flip phone, gun, felt like a duty rig almost. now I just use the Surefire when shooting a no/low light stage; they don't let me out much at night anyway. :(

Most places to get down under a buck you have to buy in bulk to some degree. Last bunch I got were 93 cents each but I think I had to order 250 or maybe 500.
I order them for the department and just add a few for myself to the order. Officers get them as needed, guess they don't figure I probably need em driving this stupid computer.

I have a very old Surefire 6z that I've carried for many many years. Since I started here so around 16 or 18 years. Keep saying I'll put an LED bulb in it but never get around to it. I carry a spares carrier in my little derelict back pack that holds 6 123 batteries and a spare bulb.
In my little front derelict bag I have a Fenix PD31. It's a little smaller, but brighter and does all that strobe and dim stuff.
It sometimes doesn't do what I ask of it, either it will be dim or bright or not strobe or strobe. One of the downfall to having all those options. Handy size and a tough little light. Don't recall what I paid for it, I know even Jocko got one about the same time I did, he's probably due for some batteries. I send him some now and then.
Spends all his money at Hooters and sheep feed so dont' have loot for batteries. Understandable.

My favorite is a Fenix E11 (I think it's been replaced by the E12). I forget the cost but it was a Midway special. It's had a rough life --- literally run through the washer and it looks and works brand new. Otherwise I keep a couple Maglite Solitaires around. They are tiny = AAA battery size. The 37 lumen version is available at Walmart for close to $10. Those all slip in a pocket and take up little room.

For around the house, I have a few Lux Pro 180's. They are 180 lumens and only $15 at Lowes. I've seen them discounted in the checkout aisle displays.
