Well, I have a semi new KAHR P9, bought it used of a friend. Between the two of us, it's probably got 7,500 rounds threw it and has had zero issues other then scaring on the OEM guide rods.

I already had a PM9 first, if i had know there was a KAHR forum, I would have been here ages ago!

:D

welcome . the P9 is just now getting "broken" in. My PM9 has 25,900 through it and to me stills eems as tight as when new. Not sure rounds can hurt these guns either. That scaring on the guide will do no harm either, as 7500 rounds kinda prove that to. Nice gun and again welcome. Nice group of people here, they like to help, they like to have fun, they get along..

Welcome...I bought a used P9 and it has been a great gun to shoot. No issues and one of my favorite carry guns.

The good news is that this forum is pretty new...only 7 or 8 months old, so this is still the ground floor, so you're kind of a charter member.:w00t:

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new P9. From your post I see I don't have to tell you that you will love the Kahr. I have only been a CW9 owner for a few months and it is already my favorite carry pistol.

Thanks guys!

Yeah the P9 was a recent purchase from a local friend who lost his job in the auto industry (worked for GM) and was hard up to pay some bills. Then the KAHR PM9 I bought the PM9 about 2 years ago. The PM9 good gun too but no where near as comfy as the P9 is to shoot.

Now I just need to find a good IWB and pocket holster for the P9.

I think I'm going to get a Tucker Silent Thunder IWB holster for IWB and I've not decided on a pocket holster yet. The P9 came with a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster but it doesn't exactly strike me as a quality holster after owning Milt Sparks, Tucker, Comp-Tac's, Meco Leather, etc.

Any pocket holster suggestions for the KAHR P9?

Welcome aboard. We try to have a good time here, and yes sometimes a thread will get hijacked...it's all good.

Yeah I don't really care about thread hijacking, I'm guilty of doing that myself from time to time! :D

We're not suppose to hijack threads? Who knew? I thought we were just having fun talking about guns and shootin and stuff. I'll try to be more careful.

I have a Comp-Tac CTAC holster and the CW9 just disappears when I use it. I also have a Crossbreed Super Tuck. Both IWB and both outstanding holsters. Still looking for a belt holster. As to pocket holsters my CW9 is about 1\10 of an inch longer than your P9. I have carried the CW9 in a pocket holster an Uncle Mike's #3, its not really a pocket pistol. The PM series is in my mind an excellent pocket pistol. I don't have one, but from what I read it would be great.
