This happened to me yesterday. Practicing double/triple taps, reload, double taps. Using 5 magazines and range bought ammo (reloads). Shot about 20 rounds, then got a FTF. I tried different mags, same. I tried to load my SD ammo from the mag I keep in the gun, same. Couldn't sling-shot a load, couldn't load using the slide release. I took the slide off, shined the ramp, looked down the barrel, in the slide and didn't see anything broken. When I got home, I took it down to clean it. When I ran a brush thru the barrel, out came what was left of a brass casing. It was cracked, and probably the top 1/3 of the shell. A shell that was re-loaded one too many times. Problem solved. :D

I myself have a hard time trusting what the fokkI load even, let alone buyin any range relaods. No way that is gonna happen. If I can't go therange with my ammo then I ain't goin.

U were even lucky IMO that u didn't get a kaboom and then not knowing what realy happended more than likely the gun would have gotten the blame for it. Good damn thing u were wise enough to give the gun a good home stripping to. IMO nice job.,u will live to shoot anutter day.

Ya about range bought rounds. They don't say they're reloads, but you can see many different brands on the casings. If it wasn't almost impossible to buy target ammo these days, I would bring my own store boughten new target ammo. And I don't want to waste my SD ammo for target practice until the supplies start showing up at the stores again (someday?)
